When rappers write, they're counting their syllables for each bar so they know that they are on beat. But sometimes you can be offbeat even though you have, for example, 15syllables /bar. But that problem is solved just by writing to the instrumental. But to answer your question, lyrically skilled rappers are real picky with their words. Every syllable is counted and are there for a reason.

Lil Yachty really blew up in 2016 when mumble rap started taking over, some saw him as the face of mumble rap for a while. His first song that really blew up was “One Night”. He didn’t really rap about gangs, drugs, and violence as much so he was very advertiser friendly and got a lot of brand deals, his biggest one was with Target, it came out that he had made $13 million in a year. “Oprah’s Bank Account” was his latest hit. Some other of his big songs are, Broccoli, iSpy, Peek a Boo. Also the 2016 XXL Freshman Cyper.
