Do you do the surgery or is it your trainee and how do the take patients put out by ga or spinal? Do brief the patient or not before the surgery? can you do Holep other ?
I had a procedure done my doctor called it a turp but not a turp ill still have the ability to ejaculate . so its been 5 days since and ive been very unhappy i hope i get better and dont regret it.
Very bad TURP operation seamen is not discharged from penis, if prostate gland enlarge take medicine and OIU operation for blodder to stricture urine passing problem. My prostate gland size 24gm and PSA only 1.2 ng . Unfortunately Dr Dilip Karmakar at Kolkata remove my prostate gland unnecessary. There was no infection and bleeding.
This procedure is more than 10 years old. It is barbaric, primitive, painful, risky and unreliable! Any of the latest procedures do not comply with the progress in medicine achieved in other branches of medicine, take for example heart procedures and angioplasty. None of 10 years old heart operations and procedures are applicable this days!!!!Is it because the least talented people are in urology or because it is about old people who no one cares about??????

Went through TURP 5 days ago and surgeon told me it was successful. Now I'm waiting for a follow up and hoping the catheter is removed very soon!

I'm curious to know why the destruction of urethral tissue that obviously occurs during 'turp' procedure does not create problems.

After my turp they took my catheter the next day, I was urinating ok the day after the turp , but the next day I couldn’t urinate
