    It's crazy that I've been watching Dr. Sledge for almost 2 years now, feels like I've gotten a true degree in esoterica that you wouldn't find in actual schools. My college had barely any esoteric classes besides a Mysticism of East&West course I took during my bachelors (with a dope teacher), and a lot of my philosophy course teachers knew nothing about these topics or thought they weren't important or "too spiritual/religious?" for some reason. We need more teachers like Dr. Sledge!

      I full heartily agree. These topics of ancient studies are a lost knowledge and studies. not even highly well known universities have these classes besides the superficial knowledge and not an in-depth look into esoteric studies. Dr. Sledge is a blessing for the academic and philosopher... even novice alchemist and necromancer can appreciate what he is doing for us all.

      Hello. If you haven't already, you might check out the virtual presentations and live streaming lectures at the Embassy of the Free Mind/Ritman Library (Dr. Sledge recently engaged in a presentation there). You will be introduced to the world of academic escotericism. I very much like the Enoch Seminars out of University of Michigan, also online academic presentations primarily focusing on Enoch Studies. Forgive me if you know all this and I'm 'splaining to youse! I had an experience in the early 2000"s where I felt the presence of a spirit that changed my religious thinking greatly. I refer to it as having a tattoo put on my mind and soul. It included a great deal of information shared almost immediately from this spirit. More important than the volume of information was the quality of the information. I feel that those who study and memorize scripture may integrate the body of the knowledge into a deeply internal thought process which allows an almost automatic response to challenges presented. At the end of the experience a word was spoken that was unknown to me. The word was "Jerah" (sorry about not knowing the spelling of this word). Thanks for sharing all the information you present on this channel.

    Preceding these latter practices is a calling upon Spirit, Source and Aka any Hierarchical or preferred name(s) fitting for Self.

    The great seal and the awesome crown rituals do impart vitality which gives the person who performs these rituals the ability and motivation to keep performing them. I learned from a Daoist magician that this positive feedback system is a sign that God has accepted the performance of the ritual and conversely, any negative feedback is a sign that God has rejected the performance of the ritual.
    In my own experiences, these rituals prevent the common illnesses and misfortunes that occur when doing ceremonial magic or praying in general. However, the common illnesses and misfortunes are not necessarily a bad thing since the book of Isaiah says, "he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

    Interestingly enough still today the Brahmins/Pandits in India will not eat garlic and onions. Many reasons are given particularly that these foods produce rajasic type thinking. However, one much less common reason presented is that if the Pandit is doing Mantra, Puja or a fire ceremony the Devas will not be evoked due to the smell. Cleanliness is an absolute for the priest for any spiritual practice followed by additional purification mantras for even the most basic of pujas (ceremony). These same rules are generally mandatory for the non priestly participants as well.

It is also adviced that we do the constant chanting or dhikr, reading and praying more than 5 times per day and don't eat onions or any other odorous vegetables as that would break the state of wudhu. Also no sex or any emissions of those kind, that requires a complete bath and you aren't even in a state fit of prayer.

    Wait so do angels dislike us humans in Jewish lore? I'm so used to the idea that angels have a relatively positive (albeit rather pensive) view of us, I'm not so educated on whether that's Christian or not. The idea that the angels disdain us and experience our presence as reeking mortals who don't deserve creation is absolutely metal. It goes against everything I assumed of how they felt.
    Amazing video by the way, I'm always excited when you post ❤

    • @KebaRPG
      @KebaRPG Год назад +4

      I do not think it is dislike by the Angels, but that they are tasked with guarding knowledge that used improperly may lead to the extinction of Humans and Other Life on Earth. More that by destroying one person recklessly pursuing knowledge for "knowledge's sake" they are protecting the rest of God's Creation.
      You may also only be thinking of the Modern view of Guardian Angels which are tasked with protection of individual people or groups of people. Such Guardian Angels are on the Lowest Tiers of Celestial Hierarchy in the scheme of the Universe as a whole. In Lore of Ancient Jewish and Christian Denominations there are many Angels which are tasked to maintain the Order of the Workings of the Universe put into place by God. Many of such Angels may appear indifferent to Humans and more hyper-focused on tasks given to them by God. As a result of being disturbed from their task by reckless Humans may destroy such Human.

    OMG So much of this is reminding me of my own fairly rigid Mormon upbringing. Mormonism has this weird fixation on being included amongst the Tribes of Israel (they consider themselves to be something like 'perfected jews' who aren't allowed to advertise it yet but who are gonna lead/save everybody), but i'm fascinated by how much of the daily ritualistic/behavioural minutiae crosses over to my extreme/fundamentalistic mormon childhood. The fetish for reading and re-reading and the emphasis on rote memorisation are particularly familiar. @7:20 To this day, my brother and i both have WICKEDLY good memorisation skills. :)

    I'm thinking if there is an angel of the Torah, then other spiritually revealed scriptures night have an angel assigned to it as well (probably not certain Christian gospels).
    This episode is so useful for me. You are wonderful, Mr. Sledge.

    Dr Sledge, about rote memorization, it was bronze age/iron age technoñogy, in several societies, in this example the Brehon laws and the Irish poetry, check those. Ireland was never a roman province, so it kinda stayed in the early iron age, little urbanism, no alphabetization so to speak, etc etc.
