When you created the trend .hst file at around 10:45... how do you then link the trendline pens to that historical data file? It seems like you are missing a step, because the graph automatically goes from graphing the data based on tags, to graphing the data based on file, for a trend history text file which gets created in real-time. However, I didn't see any changes to the way the trend graph was setup, or any change to the configuration of the trend graph. All you did was add the historical file in the right place and the graph went from real-time to historical. Are we missing a step?
Does it search in that file location (for the worksheet) and determine if there is historical data corresponding to the trend if the tag names match up? If you set up your trend worksheet .hst file with only ONE of the tags you used in your example, would it automatically find that one tag and graph that historically whereas the other pen would remain real-time? Also, when you created the worksheet originally, it landed in the config folder, and when you finished up around 20:12, it was then in the hst folder. What controls when the file moves from config to hst location?
do you know how to make frequency spectrum display use the line graph instead bar graph in indusoft?
Real-time vs historical setup 7:45
Can the "Out of Limits" option for the pen be configured to a tag so that our "out of limit" range is dynamic?
