In 1997 or 1998, possibly even 1999 ... I worked one of these at the old West Manchester malls in Pennsylvania. Loved to custom these tracks for folks! Everyone loved to hear Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" & the Asteroid track was the seller. Thanks for the memorable nostalgia video!
Mr McClintic: I don't know if you still are the VP of MaxFlight but I would like to say that I have seen three VR-2002 here in Argentina, and had the opportunity to ride one of those, two times, in 2006/07. It was the older version (had a CRT display on the operator's zone, and it was the Asteroid Coaster with the older music). I remeber it was an AMAZING experience, and I've since that time been amazed by the machine itself, and had the name of MaxFlight in my head. I've been always a person who really liked the arcades, the games (specially Pinball machines), and also theme parks, it's thrill rides, roller coasters and how do they work, their design, etc. I now own my first pinball (the first of many) and I'm hoping to have my own and private arcade collection, and I would love (if the money, because I'll always have the desire, allows me) to own a VR simulator like the VR2002. As I said it's an amazing experience, and it is the "smaller" version of having a Roller Coaster at home. So, finally, what I wanted to say was that I really like what MaxFlight does, the mechanics, function, the thrills its machines (as a roller coaster) gives. Greetings from Argentina. Facundo.

el único Maxflight que pude ver y subir fue en Coto Zona Z, ese lugar se vino bien abajo.
Who made the soundtrack that used to be on the Carnegie Science Center's Maxflight before it got ripped out? That was epic.
The world's most wicked Togo twister.
