The moment you lead police to remains you become very culpable in some kind of crime. Whether that be murder or desecrating human remains. You often hear people chastise a dependent for showing no remorse. But that is the same slippery slope. You show remorse you basically confess to the crime. As tough as it is, a jury will often times convict somebody that protests they are innocent. But it is impossible to get convictions on some of those people unless a deal is struck. It’s either strike the deal in which they admit to no wrong doing and get him sentenced for something or risk losing the whole case.

She was still practically a child. It is very common for very young women, especially when pregnant really young, to feel like they never got to experience life outside of said relationship. It isn't even about being single or not; It's about wondering if they were too young to decide "Yep, this person, forever" because they didn't get time to try other things in life. Underdeveloped brains and what not.
I'm not saying it's always the case. It is just quite common.

It’s really sad that given everything there is to say about this tragic case, you choose to shame the woman who was murdered by an abusive, soulless monster. But if the baby had been in her care at the time and god forbid had gotten hurt as well, you would’ve blamed her for that too. She was very young and still figuring everything out for herself and her child. I’m sure she loved Kai tremendously and she deserved to see him grow up and not have her time on this earth taken from her. Next time, maybe let’s focus our contempt towards the actual perpetrator in the case. Not their victim.

@@angelicarose493 Who said people don't have contempt for the sociopathic monster? At the same time it is obvious that this woman was highly self centered. Cheating on a spouse, bringing a dangerous monster into the home with her young child, risking his safety and future happiness of growing up without his biological father not being with his biological mother simply because of her sexual desires were better met by someone else, and then later having her mother raise the child. My grandmothers were both young and poor when they had their first child and one had no mother to help her with childcare. No excuses for such self centered behavior that is why people are pointing it out. Any person not totally focused on themselves can see this.

@@Tomtaylor7337 Yes, it's true that she had what most women would consider to be a great husband, even the ideal one. He seemed to be genuinely caring, loyal, and considerate. I don't think she was mature enough for marriage and still had lots of carefree living that she needed to experience. I think she felt her marriage was very final and that it came far too soon for her. She was probably feeling isolated and motherhood was obviously difficult for her. She may have been suffering from depression. She made some bad decisions, of that there is no question. But did she really deserve to pay with her life and be discarded in the manner that she was? Narcissistic behavior is hidden during love bombing stage, so don't rush into living together within a yr. Know the signs, is the partner trying to isolate u from family and friends, controling how u dress, where u go etc. Females can b the abusive one, as well. It isn't easy to escape once they have broken u down and control u completely. Never is a punch or slap acceptable behavior and you don't deserve it ever, bc it will escalate from bad to worse.

This is the legal system telling you how worthless your life is. You are worth nothing, you die by someone's murderous hand? Who cares, you are dead, the other person is still alive, they get a slap on the wrist and a fraction of their life in prison.........all the rest of your life is gone like it just didn't matter.
