I can't recall having a season where you get the sense of "Man I'm never taking this gun off" because that's how good it is.. No Hesitations, Still Hunt, The Call... then I got Exotic Khvostov.. the Echoes Stasis AR sounds and looks amazing. TFS has delivered so much.
A quick reminder, Desperate Measure does not count buddy kills as ability kills, be it arc soul, hellion, or stasis turret, so if you're using that build on prismatic, do Swash or Junkie instead.
Having the dawn weapons back feels so nice, very good looking designs with nice perk pools it’s almost criminal it took this long for them to return. (Way back in season splicer I had the idea to have them return then having the saint/splicer weapons made sense but unfortunately they didn’t return then)
If you do the special secret mission that is unlocked solving the Nessus puzzle. The weapons drop with multiple perks. I have seen two perks in each third and fourth column consistently. Update: I opened another chest the day after and it was a standard drop of one perk in each column. I don't know if it's going to drop with perk options randomly or based on performance.
It might have some lock soft lock out. I had double perks on the weapons that dropped on my first run but none of them had double on my 2nd and 3rd runs. So I'm assuming it's either once perk week (per char maybe?) or it's once perk week for a guarantee and then a chance after that.

@@coooooool12342 Travel to the Cistern and you will see some Vex character float with a ring around her. Under your map it'll say some garbled text. You will need a decoder buff that is easily obtainable near the ring. You will end up decoding a couple rings before getting access to the mission.
Because of you, I fell in love with Breachlight that I immediately rolled for the reprised one and got Demo/Adrenaline Junkie. It’s amazing in Prismatic Warlock
I think I'm the only person in the world that doesn't like Steelfeather.. I like how it looks and feels to shoot but something about it felt so weak, even though I like other 720rpm autos.. which do identical damage. Maybe it's the sound, idk.
Don't forget guys these weapons can drop with double perks in 3rd and 4th column. I have demo + slice in 3rd ans ad junkie + hatchling in 4th it's like insta enhancement weapon for me ❤
The sidearm that sold me on sidearms. High Albedo was my replacement when Beyond Light dropped but it couldn't compare to Breachlight. Glad to have it back
for prismatic hunter, liars, spirit of synthos etc whatever you're using for combination blow builds. since you're always dodging and punching things. slice and desp measures works so well on breachlight, whenever i dont want to use the call or run double special (which isnt very often as the call is just outrageous) this combo on breachlight is so so good
I got a demo hatchling drop with reload masterwork as my first drop of it and instantly master worked it and enhanced its traits and now it's sitting on my warlock treading build being a menace
Immediately got a Slice+Hatchling one, which got sent to my prismatic Hunter. Still wondering what I'd want for my Warlock, but it's hard finding something better than Final Warning imho. Besides, I've been having a blast with the crafted Demo+Hatchling Rufus.
Run this on my Hunter with Demo Desperate Measures and getting 3x stacks after two combo blows and the overflow with the Artifact perk make this goated
I've often thought of Breachlight not so much as getting a "god roll", but as a "god gun" since it had lots of strong workable rolls with some standouts. I kept my old demo/vorpal or MKC roll of Breachlight and now thanks to unsunsetting, I can use it again. to rip things up just like old times. Now being reissued as a strand weapon with new perks, I can get another super good Breachlight roll for another build or change up. Thinking maybe a slice/desperate measures or hatchling. Win win!

Breachlight is for Ehroar like Ignition Code is for Sweatcicle. Both are their staple weapons. Crazy how time flies so fast, felt like months when Ehorar made that Breachlight review.
Still got my original roll with Demo/Rampage from when I got Shadow. Such a good gun. Sentimental value kept it in my Vault along with Scourge, Black Armory and Dawn weapons, but they're back!
Slice + Desperate Measures won't be leaving my Spirit of Liars (plus anything really) Combination blow Hunter build, ever. The dodge punch loop essentially keeps Slice and x3 Desperate Measures up constantly. If you get the fragment for Unravelling rounds on powered melee kills that's also 100% Unravelling rounds up time too. With the Origin trait that's you also almost never need to reload. Plus it's perfectly serviceable on any other subclass.
I never got season of dawn, so the only breachlight I had was the one I got from the free run you got to do in the seasonal activity. The roll wasn't that great, but it still managed to take the spot of one of my favourite weapons. It just felt _so_ good to use, I'm so glad it was reintroduced.
Don't forget Desperate measures doesn't even require ability kills you can get a regular melee kill and get x2 and the weapon or grenade kill can get you to that lovely x3 that ALSO refreshes it's timer on every weapon kill after it is activated. All in all I love my Slice Desperate Measures Breachlight. Honestly if The Call wasn't so damn godlike I think more people would be reviewing this weapon.
ye that's what makes desperate measures way way better than golden tricorn for me, not requiring a powered melee kill and being able to do it while stowed is so nice
Somehow I feel like two-burst sidearms feel like mini hand cannons and ironically I also feel like two-burst hand cannons feel like oversized sidearms. Probably because the feeling I associate to those weapons has been swapped, the sidearms feels unnaturally stable and steady and the hand cannon feels weirdly bouncy and spammy, most of the time is the other way around.
I just got one of these today doing the Breaches on Titan with Pugilist & Swashbuckler, pairing perfectly with its origin trait and of course punching everything with Synthoceps. I don't see myself using anything else in this slot for a while.
My consecration titan is in love with my Threat Detector + Desperate Measure. I never have to reload because of the artifact mod that allows to overflow the mag due to the Origin Trait. ❤
if you’re using desperate measures, pair it with the hunter prismatic melee build, and the pale heart strand lmg with reconstruct desperate measures. From chaining combination blow, your weapons will almost always have that desperate measures x3
aisha's care eclipsed this guy for me sadly. It's a similar feel but a lot more range, and i realized i don't even need slice in the first column since facet of awakening makes tangles for me from just regular hatchling kills. Andddd hatchling counts as an "ability kill" for gunpowder gamble. For some reason...even though it counts as a weapon kill for many other perks and exotics.
Personally went pugilist over demo on this because A: the origin trait and B: on warlock I always have devour so my grenade never needs help getting it back. So I can run devour and lightning surge with strand melee and keep getting both abilities up constantly.

You made breachlight my favorite gun until it got sunset. Then when they sunset seunsetting i was so happy to hear i could use my 33k kill breachlight again. And im so happy they made it even better.
I just like it with Demo because if you're constantly consuming grenades and using you're melee abilities, you rarely have to manually reload. Tip: Incinerator snap counts each projectile as a melee hit, making the snap able to restore most of the mag on it's own. There is also an artifact perk that lets you overflow the weapons with the origin trait. Up to double the mag size.
I was a certified Breachlight hater back in Dawn. The gun just felt awful to use (and I love sidearms). After several Recoil changes to this subfamily and with Breachlight getting demo hatchling, I'm now a Breachlight enjoyer.
I have a slice/hatchling roll and I'm using it on my hunter. I never take it off. Even after getting the kvostov, i still keep going back to my breachlight
I was farming this last night and got the EXACT roll I wanted (pugilist/ swashbuckler) Then i accidentally deleted it with the rest of the breachlights I didn’t want. It was a range masterwork with a good 1 & 2 too
My first or second drop of this has Arrowhead/Fluted, Accurized/Extended, Demo/Slice, Desperate Measures/Hatchling. I might've set a world record with how fast I enhanced it.
I got slice + vorpal and I don’t know how to feel about it. I really like the call and lost signal in that slot it’s hard to take them off. I just a rapid hit+vorpal patron of lost causes that I’m kinda excited to try
I have been using it with gamblers dodge winter shroud to get my melee back. My roll has demo and desperate measures so I get my gernade back and. I use smoke and duskfield have constant up time of the perk

Also be aware that golden tricorn is bugged on prismatic. The second tier of the buff won’t activate even with the right ability kill.

They're like a 1/5 drop for me from eight hours of testing.

I got Slice Hatchling pretty quick and I LOVE it on prismatic Hunter. Just provides another easy way to get Truesight.
This roll coupled with buried bloodline and gyrfalcons cloak is crazy fun, my new favourite loadout im gonna be maining for a long time

New Patron has dual perks, which can get Rapid Hit & Kinetic Tremors or Explosive Payload, which is real nice.

First drop was Puglist/Swash, feels amazing but now i feel bad because I really don't see myself using my Mykels over it anymore.

I've been using a sunset, threat detector/elemental capacitor roll (Def not a God roll, but it's what I have), and damn it still feels good.

i feel like breachlight's problem is not being knetic anymore, i use fatebringer with payload frenzy more than it just because of it

Demo doesn't feel as good to me anymore since it's tied to grenade cooldown now. It's not giving you 10% per kill like it use to.
