Compared to other games like Wild Savannah and Sonora, they just have better and more unique things going for them. My favorite part is the dodge in both games cause it adds more to combat, which is the main thing a survival game uses to make games interesting. Latching and sitting there playing a mini game isn't fun. Cenozoic was good, but there's no reason why it shouldn't be called flawed.
Ohh I love the naming going with the La Brea Tar Pits, easy for people to connect with all the history there and lots of info on what may have lived in the area to accurately build an ecosystem

i just hope we have more variety of animals compared to the current cenozoic survival, more reptiles and birds especially is what i would love to see as playable choices
I doubt we will have any large playable lizards let alone carnivorous ones, but maybe some snakes could make it in. As for birds there’s a lot more you could do there, teratornis and the woodward’s eagle could carve out the niches of apex scavenger and aerial predator respectively, as well as a lot of other birds that could be added like the wild turkey

@@firegator6853 that’s why I stated that we probably won’t be getting any large, carnivorous, playable lizards even though the komodo dragon and megalania are two examples of large carnivorous apex predatory lizards but they can’t be in the game as well as a lot of other large reptiles because this game takes place in la brea

I’m so excited for this year! I will always be playing this and I will main smilo, bison and horse for obvious reasons. I hope they add babies 🎉. This is most likely be the best animal roblox game and i cant believe its coming this year! I am so hyped for the release and will be 100% spending all my robux on this
Why you have to bring up cs… it’s Ecos time! Not trying to talk badly of cs, but Ecos happens to be a way better idea than the former. I can definitely understand why they quit it for something new.

I hope we could see or play other species such as american lion, mastodont, mammoth, deers, camels, peccaries, tapir or even ground sloth too. The roaster seem kind of small for now, but very good one, the model and design are excellent (as fro accuracy and pattern), very inspired by paleoart.
I have no problem with cartoony graphics. My problem was always the models and animations in roblox animal games. But those models, those animations. Looks promising! Can't wait to play...
La brea was home to mammoths, mastodons, camels, bison (as shown in the trailer) the short faced bear, American lions, and many other prehistoric megafauna so I’d definitely say you’re in luck
I can't believe it. The mads have been joking about adding pooping to the game, and now it's actually there. Hard to decipher though, is this a good, or bad thing...
The game looks absolutely amazing already! It's just a bummer that we'll have to buy skins instead of randomly spawning with one, but even then a majority of games have that same system don't they? It's probably something people are more familiar with but I certainly hope the skins will be easier to earn than other games :)

Maybe on the New map (i hope) to still have coastal biome, and maybe the Cave Bear (Ursus spelaeus) if the location is based on California Mexico fossil site such has La Brea Tar pits formation and the Diamond valley Lake formation, the cave bear could be replace by Grizzly Bear or black bear and they will be the only semi aquatics creature confirmed because they have already the sets of animation, rigs, ... of the cave bear or they could replace him with Arctodus simus (giant short-faced bear) to play an extinct species a Pleistocene epoch Bear 😊
I’m not a dev so I can’t tell you for sure but I highly doubt we are getting any sea creatures, and the only semi aquatics that I could see being added are gators and small mammalian semi aquatics like otters and beavers as well as possibly large fish at the very most but I could be wrong

The combination of prior extinction and cenozoic survival is awesome! Graphics and quality and animals from cenozoic survival mean that ecos might replace prior extinction to be the best animal survival game!

They’re trying to make an ecosystem this time, so it will be more balanced than a kelenken killing everything for example.
Wild Savanna in a nutshell:
the sabers are designed to be really difficult to survive as so that beginners will play as dire wolves
Oh nah, Yellowstone is worst, there’s wolf packs of like 15 and sometimes there’s 2 packs combined into a pack of like 35-25

The combination of prior extinction and cenozoic survival is awesome! Graphics and quality and animals from cenozoic survival mean that ecos might replace prior extinction to be the best animal survival game!
