Even if it didn't die from army losses it wasn't going to do much better if at all. Terrorghiests aren't really a unit you cycle charge with unless the unit is already held down by fodder.
I think the hp is deceiving on slayers. It may show a little sliver, but they’ve still got quite a few buffed entities. And, I think the game design for vampires count units takes into account the necessity of invocations of nehek, so they’re fragile. I don’t think there’s a single elite vamp count unit that can straight up beat any other elite unit by themselves.
Which is no way the Vamps should be implemented like! This game is based on tabletop! And Vamps on tabletop are not requiring Invo to function is a bonus as all spells! Their stats in Warhammer total war are not coresponding to their stats in tabletop! Take such like Grave Guard. Why are their missing their Killing Blow? Their are on the same stats or little worse stats then Empire Swordsman with shields! This game is not kind to Vampire players! For their a missing so much from their tabletop it makes them unplayeble in multiplayer!
@ I absolutely agree. It pretty much pigeon-holes a player into a trash-spam army, leaning almost entirely upon lords and heroes. If your lord or hero gets sniped it’s devastating. I played the vamps once or twice that way, and then afterwards only with full conversion mods.
@@user-br4qp4pw2ohard disagree with your premise here, re: should function as tabletop. It's not table top at all. Real time, no points limit, etc, make things very very different in execution. In face of those realities, making an adaptation mirror the source is actually failing to make something good.
@@BenHyle If its not a mirror to the Tabletop then WHY are almost all Chaos and Order factions having all the Tabletop goodies? The 3 best melee infantry for dwarfs are Dwarf warriors with shields top cost efficient Ironbreakers they shall not pass Giantsslayers kill EVERYTHING LARGE and hit hard to armor
Enjoyed the new format showing the difference micro makes. Good job
Thanks for the comment. Yea, the results were quite different :)
I agree i knew slayers would well…..slay but I think that the vargheists performed better than what I thought with cycle charging
The slayers failed; they WANT to die, so this is actually a loss for the dwarves
Poor Slayers :D Thanks for the comment.
Short?! 🤨
Imo, quite short ;) Thanks for the comment.
No alliance!
you gotta keep in mind the balance of power and army losses mechanics in your tests, it completely spoiled the terrorgheist fight

I sic'd a unit of regular slayers on a terrogheist recently in campaign and they clobbered it so no the giant slayers would have killed it anyways
Thanks for the comment. Yea, agreed on that. Though, imo it already showed that the Terrorgheists were losing. But still, you are right :)
The thing is they are literally the hard counter for all of those units.
Agreed on that :) Thanks for the comment.

Man, those survivng Slayers suck at fulfilling their oath.
Yep, maybe next time :) Thanks for the comment.
I don't want to say that Slayer are overly strong... that's exactly what they are!!

Hmm. How can they be overly strong? I mean they are so... short ;D Thanks for the comment.
Was really surprised how well varheists managed with micro. Still don't know what to do with terrorheists - so bad unit.
Thanks for the comment. Yea, seems to be the case with the latter :)

Yea, sounds reasonable :) Thanks for the comment.
Yeah... that's not going great for em, eh? Can't imagine Mournguls doing much better than these either.
Probably yea :) Thanks for the comment.
