As i always say: chaos dwarves are op as hell and deserve everything we're doing to them. Just look at this t2 unit with silver shield + heavy armor + range + honest melee stats + cool hats. Its like the dev forgot to give them weaknesses !! Its just a test but it filled me with hatred !! Noce vid by the way ^^
they are strong on paper and as individual units but their close range and straight shooting means they are so incredibly vulnerable - in a realistic multiplayer battle there's no excuse for letting a blunderbuss unit get straight line of sight and free shooting in engagements without instantly being bogged down or obliterated by magic. Archers and crossbows are much harder to shut down and can get much more consistent damage in
Their SHORT range means that they are more likely to be forced in a melee, and guns having LOW firing arch means that you can't put your own melee units in front of them. Also while their melee stats are decent, against pure melee units they WON'T MESURE WELL against them.
Armored and shielded and on top of that also decent melee combatants vs other ranged units that hardly even have armor penetration? No wonder only Shadow-walkers came close. It's surprising how far a T2 Chaos Dwarf unit can take you.
Well. We all know this fight would never happen this way. Bunderbuses are always focused and all elves are much quicker to reposition, not only shadow warriors. But yeah they are strong units for the price, at least in campaign

Shields High armor Just shrugs off archer-heavy faction’s shots One volley is like 3 times theirs AND very accurate AND their reload is quick. Blunderbuss are not even close to balanced
You just don't know how to counter them. They are easily shut down, has line of sight issues and if you decide to stand in front of them it's your problem not a balancing issue
@@QualityGames-ql1jc dude, there is no need to nerf chaos dwafs, you literally played into their hands. This type of scenarios are super rare in actual battle and you can just shut them down using a meele unit or stay out of range
I genuinely feel like dwarves are OP in skirmish fights purely because they get to keep their shield bonuses while firing.
Yea, that is rather interesting :) Thanks for the comment.
@@QualityGames-ql1jc Thanks!
I guess you should imagine them turning around while they reload, so their shields face the enemy. Wheter thats realistic or balanced is up to you
12:20 damn that c. Dwarf just point blanked that guy
Damn knife ear deserved it.
@Vandelberger he did actually
Yea, that was rather brutal :) Thanks for the comment.
12:19 oof. poor lad.
edit: 6.5/8. wow. the dawi zharr fire resistence must have helped quite a bit against the SoA.
Yea, that was quite brutal :D Thanks for the comment.

Thank You! Yea, they seemed rather op here :)

They had charge defense vs large on release
Did... Did they just tie? That's interesting.
These guys also tend to beat Ironsides too, though they can be kited somewhat.
Thanks for the comment. Yea, agreed on that. That tie was rather funny. It seems the morale drop takes a while and thus this can be a result :)

Thanks for the comment. Yea, fully agreed on that :)
If they would toned down the knockback effect from blunderbusses it would be fine
Agreed. It buys them quite a bit of time :) Thanks for the comment.
One of the best units in the game by far.
Agreed on that :) Thanks for the comment.
Honestly, you'd be better off not chasing the Shadow lads as you can't catch them. Spread out, take the hits, then you're fresh for the melee section.
Ah, a good point. :) Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comment. Agreed on that. Rather impressive that Shadow Warriors and -walkers fired everything at them, and still they kept coming :)
Can you please show the fully upgraded blunderbusses vs entire missile infantry?....bet the blunderbuses will still win
You mean with 9 chevrons? :) Thanks for the comment.
Chaos shorts vs asur
Indeed :) Thanks for the comment.
You would think the elves with their love for sniping WOULD EMBRACE guns but nope...
You never see elves with guns in fantasy.
Do Eldar count or are we stretching 'fantasy' too far?
But it would be 600 years of bow practicing going to waste ;D Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comment. Agreed, and they are Tier 2. Though, the tests are always a simplification :)
Chaos Dwarfs are stupidly OP, i wish CA would take time to nerf them a bit.
Thanks for the comment. Yea, at least in this type of scenarios :)

chaos dwarves are actually a bit on the weaker side you never see them dominate the map in campaign and MP there is a reason they are never banned
