God bless you Pastor Skip, I'm always blessed by the truth of Gods word when I listen to you teach. God will continue to supply in abundance the grace, revelation and wisdom you need to fulfill your calling in Jesus's name
I believe Jesus and I do pray to escape the things which are coming, the Tribulation period. Very excellent teaching in The Gospel of Luke today! Thank you!
Oh Lord Jesus, help me to set my eyes on eternal life and win more souls for your kingdom in the appointed time. Help me to have a life as well in the here and now when possible. I am not sure I understand all what is happening and why it needs to happen, but I trust your judgement Lord. Help me not to be here in tribulation period, every false religion and every temptation for what is forbidden I bind under my feet in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen to luke 21 and glory to God!
I watch a lot of youtube videos (unfortunately) and, most of the time, you have to listen to 15 minutes of blah blah blah just to get to the last few mins where you finally get to the information you wanted to hear ( I often fast forward). So, I just wanted to thank you for making every second of your videos informative, interesting, enlightening, and quite frankly, addictive! You make it so simple that even my 13 year old can understand. And she doesn't have a relationship with Jesus (yet) but you are the one preacher that even she listens to. I know it has to be a lot of hard work preparing for these messages. So many messages!!!! And it seems that no matter what I'm going through or need to hear - you have a message for that! So just.... thank you so very much for using the talents God gave you. It's cool how God uses you to speak directly to me and sometimes it's on the exact day, but sometimes, I can find that message in your library and, guess what??? God was already there in my tomorrow - yesterday! It's a "God thang". Sorry I always write so much but it takes me a few minutes to warm up to exactly what it is I am trying to say. And what I want to say is: Thank you for allowing God to use you and for making the messages so extremely information-packed yet simple and easy to understand. And so.....colorful. I mean, it's like you can imagine being there in the bible story bc of the way you compare it to today's culture and it's not so different after all! ok...back to the message..... going to bed now so I will just leave these on autoplay and that way, I can listen until I get tired and then it helps sooth and relax me to sleep. And also, I like to think of the messages playing through the night as kind of an "air purifier". Even if I can't hear, maybe it sinks into my subconscience and, in any case, whatever devils or demons that might be lurking around have to listen to you too! LOL : )
As I was reading this chapter, I understood vs 1-4, but the rest was too deep for me to grasp. I wrote in my note 'God I can not pretend that I understand this prophecy'. But I knew I could tune to your channel and God be the glory, you did not disappoint. Thank you

Luke 21: 20- 24 will commence soon. There will be GREAT WRATH upon the JEWS. THEN the time of the end will commence. At this time THE Creator Yahweh will call His chosen ones home to their LAND. Then Moses and Elijah will come from the 3RD heaven to Jerusalem . Rev. 11. Elijah will do what he did on mount Carmel AGAIN. Elijah will turn the hearts of the children to THE FATHER and THE FATHER to the children. Moses will do what he did on mount Sinai AGAIN. Moses will show Yahweh's children of Israel in the flesh who The Sacrifice is. May THE Creator Yahweh give you understanding in these salvation scriptures of things to come. Heb. 12: 14. Bless you
That’s quite a jump from verse 24 talking about Jerusalem at the then present time to verse 25 with the second coming. Why wouldn’t Jesus just make that more clear and delineate that? Or are we doing mental gymnastics to interpret this?
He’s doing mental gymnastics. Everything Jesus was talking about had to do with the destruction of Jerusalem and surrounding themes within their generation. Unless one is to read arbitrary ideas into the text
Matthew 24 and Mark 13 are not parallel passages with Luke 21. It is clear that Luke 21 was given when the disciples were leaving the temple in the day time (Luke 21 37). Only Luke 21 12 to Luke 21 23 is in the past. Luke 21 8-11 is future. Luke 21 9 clearly says the beginning of sorrows (the first 4 seals) is in the end times. And Luke 21 24 is future (Rev 11 2). Luke 21 24-28 is exactly on the very last day of Daniel's 70th week. That age will end the times of the gentiles. But Luke 21 29-36 is the end of the church age in this generation that has seen a Fig Tree bud. This age is the fullness of the gentiles. At night time on the Mount of Olives, Jesus gave more details of the ending of both ages in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. All of Matthew 24 and Mark 13 are future. That is why the terminal generation in Luke 21 29-36 will see all things fulfilled but the words "all these things" is not in Luke 21. Because Luke 21 12 to Luke 21 23 is past. But Matthew 24 and Mark 13 say this generation will see all these things fulfilled. Because all of Matthew 24 and Mark 13 are future.
