Try a Cheater Edge When Edging an Overgrown Sidewalk With a Weedeater

I am edging a lawn with a weedeater by doing what I call a cheater edge. I simply turn the string trimmer head at a slight angle to knock back the really overgrown grass on the edge of the curb, sidewalk or driveway. This can be followed up by putting a better quality edge on the lawn with a stick edge or by making another pass with the string trimmer. It takes a little practice and a steady hand to edge with a weedeater. #shorts #lawnedging #lawncare #weedeater

In Australia, they adapt by using a weed eater to shorten the lawn first.
This allows the grass to dry up faster. Then they mow, wait a day, then mow again on a lower setting.

People just don't realize that's wrong.
Secret is edge it with the weed Wacker straight up n down or a edger. That way you train the grass to go straight up. Doing that creates weeds, so every time you do that the flying weed grass goes into the yard n creates more weeds. So train the grass n you won't have problems
