Will DAMPRID moisture absorber keep CLASSIC CAR dry inside

Placed the hanging type of damprid in my 1974 Ford Falcon XB to see if in a closed up car it will absorb moisture and in turn keep mildew down. Tried it for a month. And will leave in for a future video for another month. I also at end of video put arm and hammer brand moisture absorber in another car and see how well it does in my 1968 falcon
