    Yes, some people like to be able to froth and texture your milk themselves. Take a look at the Gaggia Accademia. That one will allow you to use an auto frothing one touch cappuccino system or use a steam wand. It does a very nice job with both.

    Wow guys thank you so much for this. You sold me on the product. It seems like a lot of cleaning, but it's nice you showed all the features. Wish you showed more on the instant features though, as I wanted to see how nice the coffees come out.

    Very informative, thanks for the clarity. DeLonghi should include your video with their product! Snark alert: I could almost imagine big nail polish chips landing in the bean hopper...eek. Manicure time.

    What's the deal on the cup warmer? The machine is ready to brew in seconds but the cups are far from being warm in time. Any suggestions...besides using steam or hot water?
    This review made me buy this machine! Thanks for the video!

      Cup warmers, whether passive or active, are low-heat surfaces. While they will get warm, they typically only do so very, very slowly. They're of more benefit once a machine is left on and allowed to warm up for at least ten minutes--many work best once let to sit idle for 20-30 minutes, where they can spread their heat to the cups by way of conduction and radiant heat.

    from where did you get this coffee machine?

    How would you make just a normal coffee with milk? Americano?

    • @drmsm69
      @drmsm69 10 лет назад

      First you have to make espresso (one or two shots - strength depend on your like).
      Then pour in steamed water into the espresso. That what is called americano (espresso + hot water).

    Can I use normal coffee in this? You know, the type that's already pre-grounded and comes in the powder?

      +Stephanie Shockley Yes. The machine has a bypass doser for using pre-ground coffee.
