I’m sick of repeated mediocre rebuilds. The trenches should be the #1 priority and it’s always an afterthought. No other way to describe it besides incompetence. Best case scenario is tanking for a QB to sit behind Tua until the out of his contract (he’s a good player but too injury prone) and Ross firing Grier before selling the team
Sounds bad to say I wish we lost but it seems that loosing is the only way to get change and results. We still need Grier fired and McDaniels needs to change also
Without Tua the Dolphins are dog shit. With Tua they are a 10-11 win team with current injuries. Dolphins are going to be 2-4 coming out of the bye sadly when Tua returns. With all the other injuries they are dealing with, this team is going to finish 7-10 most likely. Worse if they lose more key guys. And that’s assuming Tua stays healthy rest of year.
What about cam smith? Oh wait he will never play because his father is good friends with Grier. Still waiting for a good oline to protect our QB. I guarantee you if we only win 4 games this year, the house will be cleaned. Sad but true. Wish Mike would give up play calling. GO FINS!!!
This is the most injury prone team I have ever seen. This team needs a new training and conditioning staff along with everything else. Either that or South Beach signs nothing but cardboard pansies.
I feel like a bad fan, because I know the season isn't over. Our record isn't ideal but not horrendous. But I just don't have faith for some reason. We are a heel and a fumble away from being 0-4. And the games we have won have been against bad teams in 1 score games. I hope they turn it around with tua, but from what I've seen idk if getting tua back is enough to fix us. I want grier gone tho. We could win the SB and I still think grier should be fired. Idk, this is a new feeling for me as a fan. Usually I'm always like "yea they can do it" "count us out, I dare you" but now I'm like "yea, makes sense, we are bad" idk maybe I'm a bad fan, I just lack hope
The Josh Allen thing sounds EXACTLY like when Tua came back into the Bills game. We know they were both concussed in their situations. I don't care what the NFL says. It explains Allen going 9 for 30. Tua is dog shit. Cut him now. No one cares when the Dolphins get the quadriplegic back at QB. The Bills destroyed him before he almost died from a soft tackle.
I’m always happy with a win. That being said, this team could barely beat a team that is trying to lose. Our OL is historically awful. There’s not a snowball’s chance in Hell Tua survives the season playing behind this garbage OL. He will get concussed AGAIN and that may very well be the end of his NFL career. Grier should be fired failing to address the most pressing and glaring need (IOL) this past offseason. Only a moron would think R. Jones and Eichenburg are quality NFL starters.
Doug there were signs that this QB was starting to connect with the receivers. Again look at who they played. Ans the Patriots nearly won the game. Bills played Houston who is really good this year. Just lost on a last second FG. Ask yourself honestly. Does this team really have a chance with Indy. Flacco is playing good.
That’s not good. I don’t know what to expect going forward. I’m not expecting much honestly, but who knows maybe they will surprise us. I wouldn’t bet on it. They need to run the ball more but again that goes back to the offensive line not being very good. The running game set up the passing game just because it’s a passing game. It doesn’t have to be even though the NFL is trying to eliminate defense and physicality. It still comes back to those basic principlesphysicality winning at the line scrimmage time of possession and stopping your opponent. You have to do all those things to win.
9:00 I do NOT want to hear about pressures....Jaylean Phiilips in the last 3 years has like 10 pressures on Josh Allen where he converted 7 of them for 1st downs. Pressures are the most overrated stat....Sack the QB and end the play/drive.....Close is only goo's in horseshoes and hand grenades.
A win is a win man. The downtrodden pulling down complaining is negative energy. HOLLAND can bring with a cast..injuries happen..we have to deal with it. We will be in the playoffs. We beat the colts, tua gets back the offense catches on fire. Make positive videos.
I have been a fan of the Miami Dolphins for 50 years! I think we have another losing season playoffs are in our rear view mirror what I do think we should do, is definitely prepare for next year and definitely fire the general manager Greer, and send Mike McDaniels with him I never bought into Mike McDaniels never he was worried about trying to be cool talking about Rolex watches designer sunglasses and his groovy sneakers unbelievable! If you've been a fan of the dolphins for any time what we should have done was keep Dan Campbell everybody liked him as far as the players but no things suck and Greer is the problem! He loves the bells and whistles but he couldn't give us a decent offensive line to protect the quarterback unbelievable they look pathetic on the field yesterday they cannot score touchdowns we need a real Coach Greer and Mike McDaniels is not cutting it!
Van Ginkel so far this season with the Vikings 15 solo tackles, 3 sacks 2 int and a Touch Down...WTF Grier you let him (i.e. Van Ginkel) walk after he produced 7 1/2 sacks for the Dolphins last year as a back up and replaced him with Chop Suey. Grier is the worst GM in the NFL. Simple logic you keep Van Ginkel and you go in the draft looking for OL help. This is just a small sample of how the Dolphins have become the worst franchise. And you know what, Ross will keep that bum no matter what!
If they can manage to get two solid guards, draft or otherwise, they can be an every year playoff team by running the ball. Two studs and one better than average in Mostert, the occasional bomb to hill. That’s a recipe for winning. Not the geek garbage McDaniel does now w Tua
Hate me for saying it 🤷 I’d love to pull a falcons and draft Cam Ward as Tua’s backup. Tua has played one full season in his entire career. Ward will get multiple chances to prove he deserves the job. If he does so, it’s a win win situation for the dolphins and we’ll be able to package Tua for great compensation.
This league is all politics. 4 games, not four weeks? I thought he should come back when he is healthy? This league is sickening. Nothing is real anymore
Next draft we have so much draft capital. I think end of season, we move out grier and mcdaniel, and see if we can move out Hill, Tua (by hook or crook) and Ramsey. We went allstaar on attack and it's failed. We brought in tight ends, and we not using them. Our o line is basically one huge rolling contract of mid players. It's lopsided and porous.
A real football player would be playing the next week with a broken bone in his hand. Ronnie Lott had his finger cut off to get back on the field. Got some soft players these days
Should’ve got Simmons when they had the chance. I’d still like Miami to shoot for 1st round quarterback next year and have him sit behind Tua a year (assuming Tua comes back and health is ok) and a guard in the 2nd. Or vice versa (OL 1st qb 2nd) they got a fair amount of 3,4 an 5th rounders I think so they could go pass rush and cb
Why Do You Keep Thinking That Túa it’s going to fix anything. Stop this nonsense don’t you know that by the time he comes, these team is a mass and will continue with him without. Stop please stop that dude is only Risking his health, not come back it ain’t coming to save anything. Is that a beaten up 500 and up team what makes you feel better about this when the line is worse than last year?
Having Mostert back is enormous especially with Achane out. Veteran presence in huddle

Dolphins are going to be 2-4 coming out of the bye sadly when Tua returns. With all the other injuries they are dealing with, this team is going to finish 7-10 most likely. Worse if they lose more key guys. And that’s assuming Tua stays healthy rest of year.
That not what we saw in game one or two & when he comes back it’ll just be more of that.
What about cam smith? Oh wait he will never play because his father is good friends with Grier. Still waiting for a good oline to protect our QB. I guarantee you if we only win 4 games this year, the house will be cleaned. Sad but true. Wish Mike would give up play calling. GO FINS!!!
Can Smith still injured?
🐬⬆️
An ugly win is still a win. And against a divisional rival.
Better than losing
Renner Valleys
Doug why are the Dolphins the only team. Who loos players out for weeks after concussions?
I’m always happy with a win. That being said, this team could barely beat a team that is trying to lose. Our OL is historically awful. There’s not a snowball’s chance in Hell Tua survives the season playing behind this garbage OL. He will get concussed AGAIN and that may very well be the end of his NFL career. Grier should be fired failing to address the most pressing and glaring need (IOL) this past offseason. Only a moron would think R. Jones and Eichenburg are quality NFL starters.
Can’t he just were a cast? Other than the punch out first game, has he been good? Hard to tell some times
I’m not that positive anymore.. I think we’re done! Can’t believe Tyreek left KC for this?
Chop will be fine. Inside LB’s need to fill better. Stunt more.
Guess we better go sign Justin Simmons ASAP if you ain't signed with anybody does anybody know if he's still available
He plays for Atlanta Falcons
The win was fortunate, lucky..., but real ugly and only delays the inevitable.
We should cut Poyer and sign a better safety. They won't do that, but that's what should be done. He can't play anymore.
💯 agree! Michal Hyde and Jaylen Kearse!
Doug we need oline help every sb winner has a top ten oline why can't cg get that in his skull
Holland can’t just wrap that hand up and play? It’s not like he’s a WR.
It’s a very ugly win and I still don’t feel good about going into the Indy game
🤦🏼♂️
There zero reason for us to believe that they can I think because we won Sunday a lot of fans now have false hope. Hope I’m wrong
Doug let’s be real, it doesn’t matter how rankings stack up, we’re very far from being a playoff team
Stfu. Tua is done, get over it
Nobody wants Tua but the incompetent idiots Chris Grier and McDummy
But I don't think we are going to lose enough games to get a QB.
This league is all politics. 4 games, not four weeks? I thought he should come back when he is healthy? This league is sickening. Nothing is real anymore
Most things are real, but there doesn't seem any sense to this.
Holland has NOT been impressive this year !!
Not like the Colts are great. We can beat them. They gave up like 40 to Jacksonville.
Not to be negative, but why all this in depth analysis? We all know for a fact, that the Phins will not make the playoffs.
Draft picks are garbage when Chris Grier is the GM.
A real football player would be playing the next week with a broken bone in his hand. Ronnie Lott had his finger cut off to get back on the field. Got some soft players these days
Ugly a** win. Running game looked good. Blocking ehh…
Draft Cam Ward
Tua is going to be rusty.an you know how he does after missing time ..
Stfu. Tua needs to go away for good
He went 261yrds 1td and 0int after coming back from his first concussion and than went 382 yrds and 3td 0int the next game. He did pretty good
Why Do You Keep Thinking That Túa it’s going to fix anything.
Holland is overrated!! He hasn't played good football since the middle of last season. And I would not give him a boatload of money 💰
Hate to bust your bubble but they're not tanking for a quarterback. They might in 2026 but they're not doing it now.
Idk Vivian but I think we should tank and I don’t see us beating the colts or cards if we only score 1 TD per game
Doug please don't talk about tanking...Tanking is a stupid term brought up by ignorant fans...don't appease them
