Abhijit's story is very heart touching. His bad luck was Dev Anand's film Anand Anand flopped miserably and his beginning of career got big blow but inspite of many hardships he emerged as a great singer.
अभिजीत सर के मुँह से ये सुनकर मुझे बहुत अच्छा लगा जब उन्होंने कहा @32:55 टाइम पर "मेरा फेवरेट सिंगर अगर मुझसे हमेशा पूछिए तो वह है उदित नारायण"। वैसे उदित नारायण जी भी अभिजीत सर की बहुत तारीफ और सम्मान करते हैं. अभिजीत सर अपने दिल में कुछ नहीं रखते, जो दिल के अंदर होता है वह जाहिर कर देते हैं, इसी वजह से कुछ लोग इन्हें अपना दुश्मन या एरोगेंट इंसान समझ लेते हैं। जबकि ऐसा नहीं होना चाहिए, इंसान वही अच्छा होता है जो सामने सब कुछ कह दे, ना की पीठ पीछे बुराइयां करें। ऐसे साफ मन के इंसान बहुत कम मिला करते हैं।

Abhijeet da is a very good singer and done justice for his songs. Even when singing Kishore da song he tries to creat his own style. No doubt his songs from 90s are still nostalgic. I heard his voice first in song Prem doot aaya. He is very straight forward guy so had hard time surviving in industry. God bless him.

Few of the issues raised by him is very true and unlike many,he has the guts to speak out in media/interview.But one thing that goes against him is his nature of criticizing co singers.
Abhijeet ji ne kabhi kisi singer ko criticise nahi kiya, is interview me bhi unhone Udit ji, kumar sanu, Kavita ji, Amit kumar, jagjeet singh jaise sabhi singers ki dil se tareef ki hai, srk ke sath issue hone ke baad bhi interview me Abhijeet ji ne srk ko defend kiya jabki sab jante hain ki ghamand srk me hai aur srk ne hi pehle Abhijeet ji ke sath misbehave kiya tha.
Abhijeet ji ki ek quality hai ki wo apne dil ki baat bluntly bol dete Hain bas unki yahi quality Aaj kal ke tedhe logo ko pasand nahi.

Abhijeet was my favourite singer in the 90's and after that it was Udit Narayan & Kumar Sanu. But he suddenly disappeared after few years and I used to always wonder what happened to him. It was nice to hear him talk in this interview but I feel the interviewer could have asked him more detailed questions on what was the reason he disappeared.
The man is egotistical and insulting to hosts so the question will not come up.
