Ajay - It is better to ignore these jealous Pancham or RD fans. comparing Mozart to RD is the biggest joke ever. Both Mozart and LP did not have free BAAP KA MAAL. Today majority of songs and not just 10 or 15 same songs like RD which got remixed, many LP songs different one is remixed or coming in new movies. Even youngsters are crooning to LP music. So few RD fans I am saying few not all are jealous and are under the wrong impression that RD was way ahead of times and all these nonsense. He just had one tun tuna rhythm or kangi rhythm in most of his songs in the background. And making bad sound through his voice or just keep telling RD is way ahead does not make him anyway ahead or original.
It's YOU and ONLY YOU who is stating that you did NOT make a second tune for Raj Kapoor. Raj Kapoor is gone now - you can leisurely say what you want (even lies). So, you wish to say that you are a GREAT musician. If so, explain to me why the same Raj Kapoor dumped you after hiring you for his initial films - being disappointed by your music (which was so poor compared to THE EXTREMELY HIGH STANDARD MUSIC that Shankar Jaikishan had composed for him).
Laximant pyrellal yeh jodi bahut shaandar composer but yeh dono anti Kishore Kumar,inke Rafi ji se bahut gehra naata tha isliye yeh jodi Rafi ke copy singer bhi Kishore Kumar se acche lagte hain, Laxmikant ke itna himmat Great Kishore Lumar ek baar besure bol diya tha.
You are totally wrong, Post ‘Aradhana’ 1969, Laxmikant-Pyarelal have given around 379 songs to Kishore Kumar, that includes songs from “Daag” 1973, “Manchali” 1973, “Amir Garib” 1974, “Roti” 1974, “Aakraman” 1975, “Ponga Pandit” 1976, “Aashiq Houn Baharon Ka” 1977 etc….Total 402 songs with Kishore kumar and 370 songs with Mohd. Rafi.
L-P who started off with so much promise ended up doing terrible work in the 80s. Eventually it was left to the younger brigade to clear the debris and bring about a revival.
Undoubtedly LP was a great composer, but till only single Composer who is alive even after 3 decades and that's Pancham only rest are forgotten woth time, even today's youth is connected with him and experiments were his USP LP music was for masses not for class

Ravindra jain composed mostly Rajasthan - Nirth-west based folk and bhajan songs ... Bhappi laheri hardly composed any romentic songs except some disco nos. that were popular among the youngsters...They were never composed songs that were perfectly fitted to Bollywood situation ... And were not even close to LP when it comes to their music style, using instruments, composing classical, non- classical, folk, bhajsn or even caberat songs...Having said that, both Bhappi and Jain were good music directors in their own field.
