This week, 5 Seconds of Summer will release their highly anticipated album Youngblood. We caught up with the boys when they were in Singapore in March and introduced them to some beloved Singaporean sauces, and ask them questions about the new album at the same time. Call it... 5 Sauces with 5SOS.

I’m trying not to burst your bubble but 5sos is not rock. Never has been. They’ve always been pop/alternative. Especially with slsp. Sounds good feel good was a mix but they’ve never been rock. Hopefully this album we will get more ‘the attic monkeys’ and “the 1975” vibe that I love
Adriana Fiorilo yes definitely. But I wouldn’t say 5sos was the most common version of ‘rock’, when people think rock, they think Green Day, Nirvana, Metallica, etc etc. 5sos is more on the pop rock/alternative side. Especially with this new album and what I have seen.
