Hey Owen, been a drummer off and on for more than fifty years. What I love about RUclips is that I can get different takes on how the drum parts are dissected and performed by young drummers. Yours is spot on. No flash in your playing, you just get the job done. I don't enjoy when a drummer tries to throw a bunch of crap in the performance just to prove their chops and to get a little extra in. You pretty much stayed in your lane. Well done!
Thanks very much for the kind words. I do try to stay true to the original, whilst throwing in my own flavour. Sometimes I do get a bit carried away and overdo it but for the most part, I like to cover these songs because they’re already interesting and fun to play. Glad you’re enjoying the content ☺️
@@OwenAlec Well I would be keen to see a cover of any of the Formula 1 theme tunes, being a motorsport fan. So either the old one (Fleetwood Mac - The Chain) or the current one (Brian Tyler - F1 Theme)... :)
It essentially comes down to whatever feels most comfortable for you. Try having them really close to you, then slowly move them out and around until you find and combination that works for you. Hope this helps!
