Not using the bathroom without permission made me laugh… but sooo true! Another tip I learned over the years was never wear any tools or accessories (i.e. keys, clip-on knife, tape measure, etc.) as you walk around the home. Something as simple as the rivets on your blue-jeans can scratch a kitchen cabinet if you lean against it, and a key-ring dangling from your belt-loop can leave a nasty scratch on a parked car in the garage.
I remember hearing a client yelling at the Tv (Russia Russia Russia!!) 🤣🤣I just kept my mouth shut and laughter to myself! & kept working ill take anybody's money
Yes, good tip. One time I bashed the caulking job the last guy did (horrible!). I found out it was the home owner! But he was Ok with it, he didn't know how to do it, and when I left he knew the right way to do it next time.
I love when potential clients share their political views, if they are like minded I charge them normal rates if they have opposing positions I enact the handyman inflation reduction act which is double the normal price for my pain and suffering while onsite.
That's what we are all about here at the handyman journey, changing the status quo of what it means to be a handyman! We have seen an awesome shift in the last 6yrs!
I only talk politics when they bring it up 1st lol. Actually did a call for my self 2 weekends ago where a guy started ranting. Against my political beliefs but i agreed with him to keep him satisfied and he tipped me an extra $50 haha love it.
Liked! I bring my own white Reeboks if the customer request clean shoes. and its a Handyman Code to never use a customers bathroom. I bring your own. I hate listening to today's mainstream trash. unless its Gary Null, Gerald Celente, Jimmy Dore or some classic 70's movies.
All these videos do is create revenue for YOU. It’s all about YOU man. Sad. This just creates a more competitive industry for us that are still trying to get on our feet. Saturated market. I’m out
Wow! its a lot of time and work being a RUclipsr and they don't get paid a lot for time invested. until they become very popular, don't get so Triggered! 🤣

I have a portable toilet in my van. Thank Allen
Awesome! Your so welcome!
I would personally never ask the client to turn the TV off. To me that goes against a customers “sacred” home
Ya, I think it would have to become a serious problem before that happens

😂😂😂💪
Nice video. Some people do need to be reminded of these things.
Thank you!
Great video as always Allen, keep them coming!
Thanks Sam! 💪💯
Never take a shit at the customers house, a tinkle is okay, but do it sitting down.
Rules!💪
Write a contract. You get the money that's on the contract. Nothing more, nothing less.
Yes!
My practice is to treat conversations with clients like a first date. That means no discussion of politics, religion, or exes.
Yes very good points!!💪
So you hate freedom of speech?
I usually ask what's for dinner, everything else is smooth sailings.
😂😂😂 nice! 🍔
Things you should never no matter who you are
Yes, i agree! It's common decency!
Don’t bash or run down previous work done in a place anymore than needed.

I would never, EVER ask someone to turn their TV and ONLY poop at a gas station or home
Love it
I am glad this video was beneficial!
"Anyways" is not a word. Try using "anyway" from now on.
Thanks man, that's been pointed out before. When I'm talking it just flows out so anyways that's just me! 😂😂 See what I did there!💪
@@handymanjourney You're a good man all the same. If l lived in S. Cal, l would try to help you however I could.
I would never ask a customer to shut their television off. That would piss me off if I was the customer
Thanks for your comment!
Hi Allen, I have a few questions. How can I contact you?
Submit a request at www.handymanjourney.com, would love to chat!
You forgot number 1. Never call yourself a handyman. Bad reputations.

Some of my customers require Party approved correct speech and allowed thinking.
😂😂

Hey tell tidytrax to step up their game. They've only had small size for a long time been wanting ti order for months with no luck
Ya, it's a little rough. Have you tried the tidy tax website? They have a little more options than Amazon but still limited.
Hey Allen I remember an old trailer or truck walk thru video had some kind of pop up piece for contractor bags so they stay open. Can I get a link😂

Is the market really saturated? Is there no room for newcomers?
