Yeah, somehow I'm always stuck in overthrow alone even in matchmaking.. solo is a grind just to miss where the wish. Keeper Wizard is at and have to do it all over. 💀
Man, I love my 1/64 odds at getting what I want, in a mission I literally can't do solo and requires constant communication with your teammate. Brilliant work Bungie, everyone is DEFINITELY going to want to farm this dozens or hundreds of times across three characters. If you just have to do this mission once and the class items became a drop in a different activity then that would be fine, a really cool one off experience that most players will be willing to LFG 1-3 times for. But dozens of times? Fuck that. This has instantly killed so much of my enthusiasm. They hyped this up as a core part of The Final Shape's experience and then made it such a pain to grind that most casual players are going to never even attempt it. If they had just made it so that completing the mission added it to the Overthrow or Engima Protocol loot pools then this would have been an easy home run. One complex but neat exotic mission, which solo players don't have to do more than once. Sure, repeating the mission would be a guaranteed drop and good for players that enjoy it, but casual/solo players could confidently load into a different activity and feel assured they would eventually get their god roll too. Instead you have to repeat this forced multiplayer activity, with no matchmaking and a heavy reliance on comms, dozens of times to get the rolls you want. That's brutal for the casual portion of this playerbase.

My bad that I didn't have all the information about an activity that literally just released and people were still figuring out. I was really hoping to be able to do this activity, but as this requires 2 people I know I'll rarely, if ever be able to do it. Hopefully, there will be other activities in the future to reward exotic class items.

You need to kill the final boss and then look for the wizard that spawns somewhere in the area, the spawn is guaranteed so you just need to keep looking!
@@LlamaD2I think mine might be bugged rn or something, because I’ve killed the final boss for three overthrows, and never got the little pop up that says the wizard spawned, and they never showed up at their spawn locations
Do the class items only give the main functionality of the exotic, or all the secondary features as well. Example: abeyent leap sends out multiple strand suspension seekers. Secondary perk gives woven mail. Does new exotic do both?
I like the idea of a mission that uses a cap different to 3 or 6, but it requiring a second person really limits solo players. I guess there's the Fireteam Finder, but considering how rare the perfect roll is I don't have much hope for consistently good teammates for grinding.

The laziness of information, such as not knowing there are specific Wizard spawns, not knowing if the items are added to the loot pool after completion, and legit no guide but just a playthrough, is just objectively low quality content. But who cares. Your channel is growing, profit possibility is there, and I’m sure you can tell that you can put out half baked content for genuinely a lot less stress and effort and still reap rewards. Just my two cents on the integrity of a content creator. You make great vids and come across as a good guy anyhow.
Ok bud, there’s literally zero point in you making this comment aside from making a snide comment and some backhanded compliments to sweeten the end. As with most guide content in Destiny 2, content creators need to fight to get their guides out quicker so they can be picked up by the RUclips algorithm. Creators like Aztecross, Datto and RickKackis don’t need to worry due to their large followings, but there are many multitudes of channels that make guide content. And have you considered that Llama simply didn’t know that you can get the class item to randomly drop after activity completion? And I understand that what I’ve said might somewhat prove your point, but understanding the reason why, should, for most people stop them from making an aggressive comment like you did.

I'm not afraid to admit that this video WAS rushed and simply a product of my desire to provide the information as fast as possible, and if that's tainted the quality of information in it for you I apologize. That said, I still think this video does the job I wanted it to - guide players on how to obtain the class items, while also providing some entertaining commentary and puzzle solving demonstrations. Is there a requirement or something to get the wizards to spawn? I’ve done overthrow three times, and it still hasn’t spawned the wizards once

Just the primary function. With your example: You don't get Woven Mail when casting barricade.
