@@antoniogramsci365 and I stand by it, they may now be about to start playing in the PL, but a.year ago they were a bunch of nobodies in the football world, the gap between PL and championship is still massive in terms of money, and the difference between the top half of the table and the bottom of the pl is vast because of the money of the champions League, I love my team,but honestly without significant investment, prolonged period in the PL and a lot of luck we will likely yo-yo up and down every few years like other teams have

They're playing really dynamic and flexible football, I really like what Chiesa is doing. Crossing,through balls, getting the 2nd balls everything combined to one. Really solid tactical play

Remember that, in 2003, people in Barcelona were trying to sell Xavi. If you're a player, I think it's better to be disciplined rather than skillful (but being skillful is important), look at Puyol for example, he wasn't too skillful but he was very disciplined indeed.
Xavi and Thiago don't fit this system very well. Because the CMs push up very high, almost like number 10s. Midfield is bypassed. Possession is at the back, with the DM dropping in. Then the idea is to move the ball quickly through midfield. And the CMs have to be a goal threat, and be athletic enough to sprint back when possession is lost. And it's all about individual duels. So being strong, aggressive and being able to tackle is valued.

Bielsa makes them weigh themselves daily, forego days off, training sessions run over by hours and I have not even mentioned the famous story of then having to pick up litter ! I really think it would be difficult to get that over to many "World class players" at MU or any top Premiership club. Bielsa has worked at other clubs with mixed results....and, at times walked away !
