I have L'Oréal True Match..the L'Oreal Tinted Serum and the ELF one. I like them all. I would like to try the Maybelline. Great descriptions for all these foundations. Thankyou ❤
@@eleanor543 I think you’d really enjoy the Maybelline, Linda. It’s beautiful! Thank you for always sharing your thoughts & for supporting me. You’re amazing! ☺️🩷
Drugstore makeup have come a long way but more than that, to be honest it’s probably not that different from some of the higher end makeup brands…many of what we buy is part of the marketing/branding so I’m not surprised there are so many great options. Great video Carmel! ❤
You’re absolutely right, Sharon! There isn’t much between them & I actually think that is reflected in the higher drugstore prices! Really appreciate your outlook, thanks for sharing your thoughts! ☺️ Hope you have the best week, beautiful ! ☺️💕
Hey Gorgeous!! I actually really enjoy the Elf soft glam even though I’m oily in the T zone. I’m taking your suggestion and am working on foundations for oily/normal “lived in” skin. And spoiler… the elf makes the cut🥳. Your makeup is beautiful 😍 and I love this video 😘
Hi Jan! Lived in skin, I love that! 😂 Oh I can’t wait to watch that video, it’ll actually be super helpful for even me! Yay for elf making the cut! Thanks for being here, lovely friend! 🩷
I hated the pumps too, BUT on Amazon there’s a 2 pack of pumps that fit both the maybelline and L’oreal skin tint bottles, they’re by the brand MORICHS and they’re labeled as the Mac Studio fix foundation bottle replacements, they have black tops. They are game changers, throw out the droppers!😉
Hi Brittany! I’ve heard lots about these pumps- and I’ve been telling myself for months to buy them….still haven’t got round to it 😂 those specific ones you mention sound fab! Thank you so much for sharing! 😘🩷
Thank you for this wonderful & informative video 🌷🩷 I wanted to mention that both the Loreal true match serum foundation and the Maybelline super stay skin tint, contain alcohol denat. within the first five ingredients. That's one of the only reasons I've steered clear of them, because otherwise I've heard phenomenal reviews of both products.
@@DianeS.-kl4gr Hi Diane! Lovely to see your name pop up 💜 Such a great point about the alcohol in products, so important for those with more sensitive skin. Thank you so much for raising the point- it’s so appreciated 😘🩷
I think you would’ve really liked the maybelline fit me dewy and smooth version. Superdrug had it in their website for a while but probably didn’t sell (because no one knew about it!) so they pulled it. It was in a glass bottle with no pump but it was a very nice foundation that felt high quality Similarly the Flower beauty light illusion was also fantastic and had a real high end feel. It was also in Superdrug but was in a glass bottle with a pump. It was a very elegant foundation with a good amount of glow/coverage ratio. One I would recommend you try is the Morphe light form. I’ve never found a match as good as this not even in Fenty.
Oh brilliant, thank you so much for sharing those recommendations- they sound fab! I actually reviewed the Morphe Lightform & I absolutely loved it! (You were right!) the only reason it didn’t make the cut was due to a lot of people not wanting to buy from the brand! Great suggestions! 🩷😘
I don’t use foundation everyday, just concealer and Elf Halo glow, medium in summer and medium light in winter for a lovely glow. Your vlogs are superb x
@@kerrymcilwaine Hi beauty! That sounds like a perfect pairing- the Elf halo glow gives great coverage! Thanks for your kind words Kerry, I appreciate you 😘🩷 xx

Really enjoyed your video, The only two that I haven’t tried on the list are Catrice & Wet n Wild, & that’s only because I’m in Australia & they’re really hard to get here. Just a tip, get yourself a couple of pumps for the Loreal & Maybelline skin tints. I bought mine on Temu for a couple of dollars each. Hi Carmel, the True Skin was a foundation that I tried for review purposes but did not expect to like it. I did. It’s not my favorite, but I do think it my skin wasn’t so dry I’d like it more. I think the wet n wild dewy foundation is nice! I do like it a lot. I don’t like the spatula either but for that price I think I can deal with it! I think it’s hard to go wrong with L’Oréal True Match. I agree with that! I have to say I just have not fallen in love with the ELF foundation yet. I don’t dislike it. I just don’t seem to want to wear it. I think the shade match is off for me. Thank you for the great video! 😊❤

Carmel, you are such a natural on camera! Always a pleasure to watch...😊 I absolutely love the Wet N Wild foundation. I'm also normal to dry and it wears beautifully on me.
