Now I’ve considered doing a video on brushes but didn’t think anyone would be interested 😂 I can definitely do one though- I’ll pop it on my list! BK beauty are pricey, but always have discount codes available! Rephr are also fab and you can usually get them for 50% off when they have sales- never pay full Charlene 😂 If I was to recommend any though, I would say Zoeva. They’re incredible, easy to get and last forever. Mine are well over 10 years old and still going strong! So sometimes I use the Givenchy on my whole face, but I tend to opt for a tinted pressed powder on the face because it gives me more coverage, mainly where my redness is! 🙂 Can’t believe you’re so close in Dublin, I’m only in Meath! 😃 Definitely not looking forward to returning to the rain, but to be honest I’d be surprised if it was anything different 😂🩷

Oh and yes lovely, definitely harder work than with a normal foundation for sure! I definitely couldn’t get away with it without concealer 😄

Oh gosh, I love Armani makeup but the Luminous Silk actually hates me! 😂 They used to have a foundation years ago called ‘Lasting Silk’ - and it was pure perfection! But of course, they discontinued it 😒 How are you finding the Dcypher?? 💕

Hey beautiful lady! ☺️💕 Oooh, good questions! I really like the foundation and I’ve been reaching for it when I need a bit more coverage. It’s definitely a great ‘every day’ foundation but as to whether I’d reach for it over my _favourite_ luxury foundations…hmm probably not! It definitely has a high end feel though & is without a doubt my favourite Elf foundation so far 🙂 Now the Givenchy, it took me a while to figure it out too! 🙃 I just shake it upside down when it’s closed which tends to mix the colours together in the dispensing section. I then dip an angled eyeshadow brush in & use it that way. It allows me to be more precise! You’ll definitely get a good application with a puffer but I don’t feel like I can control it as well and can dispense too much on my face! Aw I’m so glad you find the extra bits helpful! I guess I just include things that I would look for in a review. However I’m also conscious that I like to ramble a lot- but I’m slowly learning to curb it 😂 Your support means the world Charlene, you’re amazing 🩷☺️

@@CarmelNicoleBeauty I’ll pick up the Elf one to try as a ‘work’ option…don’t like to wear expensive stuff during the week. When my YSL foundation was discontinued in 2021, I asked everyone for vouchers for birthday/Christmas that year and got my makeup done at about 15 different counters so that I could redeem it against product, so I still have so many ones to try, it’s actually insane! I haven’t even tried the Dcypher yet…my baby (English Bulldog) tore his cruciate ligament and had to have surgery so I’ve been babysitting him every day since and haven’t even left the house to warrant makeup 😩 (my poor husband looking at this face 🤣) Thank you for the tip on the powder, I’ll try that 👍 I’ll also look into the Zoeva brushes…my ones are mostly Blank Canvas Cosmetics if you’ve ever heard of them (Irish brand for anyone watching abroad). Keep doing what you’re doing…not rambling at all…definitely being thorough and endearing!! Thank you, YOU’RE amazing! 🙌💖

That beautiful YSL lipstick shade reminds me of the shade, Standing Ovation in the ELF O Face lipstick line. The YSL is more shiny and luxe though, naturally! Hi Lori ☺️ Oh I totally feel you when it comes to a wing. I rarely do them and for that reason! It can be tricky with deep set eyes, but it is possible! So when I do a wing, I always use a dark eyeshadow, rather than an actual liner. I find shadow more forgiving if you make a mistake! I don’t pull my eye to the side, instead I keep my eye open and follow my bottom lash line out to the side. So basically just an extension of that lower lash line. You might find that the wing looks a little more ‘straight’ than with people without deep set eyes, but that is perfectly normal. I don’t create a huge wing, just something quite subtle and eyeshadow is great for practising this! My tip would be to avoid pulling your eye or distorting it in any way, just look straight ahead into your mirror and create it with eyes resting as normal 🙂 The only brush I can use for a wing is the Sigma E06 winged liner brush. It’s my absolute holy grail liner brush, I genuinely can’t do a wing with _any_ other brush! It’s amazing, so easy to use and ideal for beginners ☺️🩷

Hi Eve, try going for more of a yellow toned concealer. In theory yellow should help to cancel out the purple! Try some samples before committing to purchase if you can! 🩷
