An Italian movie company contacted DIMASH about doing this song and had three singers to do it the way they wanted, took the demo to DIMASH and he agreed to sing it and when they were ready to record the song he did it in one take. And the quitar solo part he did with his voice was shocking; when the movie previewed in Italy , audience members were talking after the movie and wanting to know who this amazing singer was.
Who is Dimash? I, and a few others, call him the singer of the millennia because the range of musical genres, and his vocal range, 7.7 octaves, are like no other. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now, 2023), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. The world became aware of him in 2017 (when he was 22), during and after a Chinese singing contest called "Singer". His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year (2023). This song was for the soundtrack of the movie, Creator - The Past. It came out during COVID. Dimash always have very stylish outfits, and this particular jacket is no exception. He is a fashion model, BTW. He stands 6'3", and with his good looks, perfect for fashion modeling. His voice is simply phenomenal. Out of this world. It took 3 different singers to help the director put together the demo to achieve the sound effect that he wanted, and Dimash sang it effortlessly and with such emotions, all by himself. Across Endless Dimensions The composer (Piergiuseppe Zaia) initially composed this as an orchestral piece for his film, "Creators: The Past". It's on the soundtrack of the film, and the title of the piece is "The Story of Jesus". When asked about the song, Zaia said that it's about the Garden of Gethsemane. After lyrics were written for the composition (under the title "Across Endless Dimensions"), the composer said that the song, for obvious reasons, should be sung by the most beautiful voice in the world. His co-producer started googling for the most beautiful voice in the world, and she quickly came up with Dimash's name. After watching some of Dimash's youtube videos and being mind-blown, she showed them to Zaia, who immediately contacted Dimash's team. Zaia created a demo recording for Dimash to hear the song. It required 3 different singers to make the demo, and even then the operatic soprano couldn't reach the highest notes at the end. Dimash agreed to go to Italy to record this track for the film's closing credits. This performance should have been in the beginning of the movie. Unfortunately, the movie was never released.... at least in America; I've searched everywhere.

Dimash is a miracle, so his absolute powerful and unshakable presence on stage, compared by some to a god of music, sometimes to a prince or king, the energy he absorbs from the Universe, then how he anchors himself to the Earth, his connection with the Divinity, all at a place, it gives him the strength and confidence to "command the audience, to order the orchestra, to order the song", so that everything comes out the way he wants and how Dimash feels, that is unique. All these qualities are only at Dimash, absolutely. I come back to the idea, so I can't make a top. Why? Simple: each song by Dimash has a different theme, a different melodic line, different feelings, different tonalities. Each track is unique in lyric, interpretation, musical essence and message. If you listen to one, you like it more, if you listen to another, you like it even more, you can't decide because you can't. There are pieces with a religious touch, patriotic pieces, pieces of love, pieces of courage etc. If in an interview Dimash was asked what song he likes, I don't know what answer he would give... Almost all of them are masterpieces. It is as if Dimash is a father of dozens of children. I don't think he could tell a difference between them. Each piece has its place in time and space, it is appropriate in a certain context, event. Each song takes you on a certain journey, be it magical, be it angelic, be it love or be it a story, either sad, or happy, or fighting, or patriotic. We have to be consistent and say that all the pieces are exceptional, not one can be compared to another, because a parent loves all his children the same!!!
This is an OST to an Italian science fiction movie (starring Gerard Depardieu and William Shatner) called Creators - The Past written by Piergiuseppe Zaia. In order to get the right singer for the title, he searched the internet for the best voice and googled Dimash. He wrote to him and needed 3 different singers to show Dimash how he wanted the song to be. A bariton, a tenor and a soprano because no one could sing this song alone. Dimash listened and said yes. Legend has it that the original composer thought they would need 3 different singers to record this soundtrack across all these ocataves - but Dimash said; "Hold Up - I got this!" {No- actually think it was someone else on his behalf. 😆) Anyways... They got it right. The Movie's Premier release in Europe was delayed due to COVID, but Dimash was given permission to release this/ copyright separately. 😊 # it's noticeable that American reactors, in particular, listen intently to the lyrics and seek 'special meaning' - for relevance for Dimash personally and his own life. This may be the norm for US artists - to be self-referential - but is rarely the case for Dimash. He is a Master STORY-TELLER and brings his instrument (his voice) 'in service of' whichever story is being told. In this case it's for the movie, others; interpreting different songs in his covers etc. When we see more personal work it is usually about his pride in his Kazakh culture and heritage and telling those stories. Dimash is very grounded and takes care to stay outside of any 'Celebrity Bubble'. He is an artist frst asnd foremost who keeps his personal and professional life very separate, which as we all know is the only way to stay sane when fame arrives! As for 'your kind of music', we all have our preferences, but what Dimash shows us is that our appreciation can expand outside of specific genres, to include all kinds of music, if done well! If you try to sing along you will find it very difficult because of the pace. It is hard to sing this slow and sound good! Dimash's vocals are fantastic and he sounds like an electric guitar at the end. :) (that guy with the eye piece is William Shatner btw!) Dimash did not write this piece, but he's written a lot.

His newer released songs called “If I Had You” and “Smoke” has some awesome official music videos as well, especially if I had you. His song named “The Story of One Sky” is one I highly recommend, from the story behind it and the singing itself is phenomenal.
The lyrics are addressed to a "creator", "I miss to tears the source of my creation", "show me stars, oceans of love", "show me the way, back to my soul, show me the way to reach the core of my life" etc. The movie being called "Creators", the song, as part of the OST, serves the movie. But I like it outside the sci-fi theme of the movie. It`s a beautiful dialog with the Creator, pretty close to a prayer actually. Thank you so much for the video :) I love your channel.
Ok, remember the part where you stopped the progress of the video, for a short bit? There was a guy that was holding an Orb in his hands and he was examining it? Also, he had an Octopus-like thing over his left eye, that was focusing a sense type of thing, THAT IS WILLIAM SHATNER!!!! I recognized him the moment I first saw this video when it first came out. I also checked the cast list of the movie that is the video for... it's listed in the info at the end after the video is over. The movie was supposed to come out, the same week that the entire Planet shut down for COVID , when it first went International. So,until this past year, it wasn't shown in public, and when it was, it was only shown in selective theaters. I never watched the Star Trek series when it came to tv, but during my final year of college, I watched it, as Re-runs. THEN, in the early 2000's, I was attending the National Doberman Convention, In Ft. Mitchel, Kentucky. I was saving some sets, for friends, to watch the Top 20 Dobes do their evening performances,,. and in walked William Shatner and his Wife. They came down the row of chairs that I was in, and I know my mouth had dropped open, He was smiling and we shook hands. A thrill of a lifetime for me!!! This is an OST to an Italian science fiction movie (starring Gerard Depardieu and William Shatner) called Creators - The Past written by Piergiuseppe Zaia. In order to get the right singer for the title, he searched the internet for the best voice and googled Dimash. He wrote to him and needed 3 different singers to show Dimash how he wanted the song to be. A bariton, a tenor and a soprano because no one could sing this song alone. Dimash listened and said yes. Unfortunately, there was no premiere because of Covid.

Yup - another Dimash Masterpiece !! This guy is unreal with what he can do with his voice. I'd have to say technically the best singer in the World. Who else can do what he does. I guess if you have a nearly 8 octave range and you have all the different singing techniques at your disposal, you can just about sing anything !! Great reaction thank you. Soundtrack - Lyrics and Visuals for the Movie: "Creators: The Past". Not written by Dimash, although he does write and compose a lot of his own work. Legend has it that the original composer thought they would need 3 different singers to record this soundtrack across all these ocataves - but Dimash said; "Hold Up - I got this!" {No- actually think it was someone else on his behalf. 😆) Anyways... They got it right. The Movie's Premier release in Europe was delayed due to COVID, but Dimash was given permission to release this/ copyright separately. 😊
# it's noticeable that American reactors, in particular, listen intently to the lyrics and seek 'special meaning' - for relevance for Dimash personally and his own life. This may be the norm for US artists - to be self-referential - but is rarely the case for Dimash. He is a Master STORY-TELLER and brings his instrument (his voice) 'in service of' whichever story is being told. In this case it's for the movie, others; interpreting different songs in his covers etc. When we see more personal work it is usually about his pride in his Kazakh culture and heritage and telling those stories. Dimash is very grounded and takes care to stay outside of any 'Celebrity Bubble'. He is an artist frst asnd foremost who keeps his personal and professional life very separate, which as we all know is the only way to stay sane when fame arrives!
As for 'your kind of music', we all have our preferences, but what Dimash shows us is that our appreciation can expand outside of specific genres, to include all kinds of music, if done well! Thank you. I love this. Great lyrics. It was for a movie. Dimash was sent a demo with 3 different singers presenting in this song because no one else can sing like Dimash! If you try to sing along you will find it very difficult because of the pace. It is hard to sing this slow and sound good! Dimash's vocals are fantastic and he sounds like an electric guitar at the end. :) (that guy with the eye piece is William Shatner btw!) Dimash did not write this piece, but he's written a lot.

The lyrics are addressed to a "creator", "I miss to tears the source of my creation", "show me stars, oceans of love", "show me the way, back to my soul, show me the way to reach the core of my life" etc. The movie being called "Creators", the song, as part of the OST, serves the movie. But I like it outside the sci-fi theme of the movie. It`s a beautiful dialog with the Creator, pretty close to a prayer actually.

Ok, remember the part where you stopped the progress of the video, for a short bit? There was a guy that was holding an Orb in his hands and he was examining it? Also, he had an Octopus-like thing over his left eye, that was focusing a sense type of thing, THAT IS WILLIAM SHATNER!!!! I recognized him the moment I first saw this video when it first came out. I also checked the cast list of the movie that is the video for... it's listed in the info at the end after the video is over. The movie was supposed to come out, the same week that the entire Planet shut down for COVID , when it first went International. So,until this past year, it wasn't shown in public, and when it was, it was only shown in selective theaters. I never watched the Star Trek series when it came to tv, but during my final year of college, I watched it, as Re-runs. THEN, in the early 2000's, I was attending the National Doberman Convention, In Ft. Mitchel, Kentucky. I was saving some sets, for friends, to watch the Top 20 Dobes do their evening performances,,. and in walked William Shatner and his Wife. They came down the row of chairs that I was in, and I know my mouth had dropped open, He was smiling and we shook hands. A thrill of a lifetime for me!!! The premiere was postponed due to C and took place in Italy in October 2020.
Director Piergiuseppe Zaia composed the song (main song, he says it). Zaia was looking for the best singer in the world ... (watch the video with the interview). When he found him, he sent Dimash a demo. 3 singers sang this song but the soprano ended up having problems with the pitch. Only Dimash can sing this song. The music video was released in June, 2020.
In this fantasy film that deals with human history, Gérard Depardieu plays the Master of Faith.
The film receives a sequel with Creators: The Present.
