Congrats! I am in the middle of my training, about 7 flights so far. Most here in the states want our sport to be as unregulated as it can be, which I agree with for the most part. But, I admire the organization and dedication to learning all aspects of the sport that is required for you guys. As more people get into the sport, the more problems that will follow so there is something to be said for required testing. Not just the ability to take off and land but, knowledge of all aspects especially the do's and don'ts that keep our sport from becoming out of control which would be the demise of it.
Thanks! I do believe in receiving good quality training, whichever way it's received. I made a conscious decision to train with a BHPA school here in the UK knowing that it would offer me a robust syllabus to work on, and of course I also knew I had a very experienced instructor teaching me which. I could have chosen differently, but reliable and thorough training was what I wanted all along and as you can see from my videos...I had an absolutely amazing time! What more could I ask for! Thanks again...and all the best with the rest of your own training and...happy flying! :)
