- Great trip out to the Eastern Sierras with some good friends. Nice 8.7 lb rainbow caught at Silver Lake on the new Troutvet Custom Baits Orange & Gold J Bug Mini Jig. We caught and released hundreds of Trout. We fished many Lakes and found where the Brook Trout were hiding.

are you bouncing the lures off the bottom, or slowing reeling them in while suspended?
Usually, slow retrieve and work different areas of the water column.

@@methos7no problem. If you watch my latest Eastern Sierra video you will notice I was retrieving a lot faster because we were fishing in front of a bed of weeds but the fish were there. Faster retrieve kept it out of the weeds and the fish were aggressive so they were biting a fast moving presentation. So if im not getting bit I will definitely make adjustments.🎣
