Originally before we knew who the character was I was praying it was anyone but Oswald. When the trailers came out I was mildly interested, but now that I played the quest I LOVE him. The quest was next level, the 1920's black and white theme is so unique and Oswald himself is so funny. Great addition

I love Oswald so very much! I absolutely SHRIEKED when I saw him. I’ve absolutely loved and adored him since I first saw him in Epic Mickey. His quests have been so great. He just makes my heart so happy!
Tattoos are usually crazy expensive especially from a well known, super talented artist.

Wait, that gives me an idea. Imagine shop skins, where you can change the look of scrooge shop for example, to match certain seasons. Or something overgrown and made of grey stone to fit eternity isle. I'm imagining a spring themed scrooge shop skin with beautiful blooming flowers and overgrown vines. I think that would be a cool addition since we're running out of space for massive houses from the premium shop.

I agree about the challenge of spending money for moonstones in the premium shop. For instance, there's more houses kins this week.
I'd usually grab them right up, but I decided to just go with the Toy Story Bundle. Still have about 8k moonstones, and I know there will be more stuff for a couple weeks.
But yeah, it can be challenging prioritizing what to get.

I wish you could use the house skins on Scrooge's store and Remi's shop, then you could have the exterior look however you want in the Valley or Eternity Isle for your own personal decorating purposes. I am also obsessed with Oswald, definitely one my new favorite characters.

I play on switch and it crashes more on switch then it ever does, does get annoying when you are decorating 😢

@@Punkypurplechaos what I was thinking is that the spark you see at the end of the act II is figment and I actually had a dream about it 3 days before the update that he was coming in act III
The Daisy TOM doors don't work. You can't replace the old door with this door. You can place them in a room with 1 door as extra. Hope this is a glitch.
So I have a crazy idea, but hear me out 😂 I was thinking how cool it would be if you made some sort of in game merch. I’d love to see you design a channel specific t shirt or something. And then once you share it with several people in the community, we could all start sharing it with each other. That way not EVERYONE has to come to your island to get it. Could be a fun community project?

I did my Dreamsnap AFTER I did Oswald's Quests...I so loved them i absolutely had to make my Dreamsnap the Birth of Oswald, the absolute MOST ROYAL Celebration
I think I can clear some things up for Switch Users. See, on the switch, even without the 600 item counter, the camera and game lags when the characters are running. Or when you collect fruits or do any harvesting. After the Update....
1) Yes the chat boxes got larger, which is nice. Except, for people like me who have a lot of quests stacked up and disappearing at the top of the screen for those characters.
2) The graphics DO look somewhat better.
3) The game has INDEED been crashing more. This happens if you spend too much time in decorate mode. But the glitches now are just INTERESTING. My character will walk into invisible walls---outside! As if there are objects in the way but there is nothing. Which makes me have to restart the game. Also, when you try to purchase moonstones after playing for a long time, the scroll feature will not work. Another thing that happens is that when you go to collect Dreamlight, you can't collect them because the game glitches (times out/says no internet). This also happens with villagers who are hanging out with you; they lag behind or don't follow you. Sometimes the game won't save either unless you go and enter it from the touch screen. So you almost always are restarting sooner. Oh, and sometimes your inventory will say that you cannot drop or pick up items--WHEN--you have space in the inventory and you have space to drop the item. That means the game has to restart. And I have had the game say that there is an error and it will close you out. That's when you have to redo anything that was not saved.
On the bright side, yes the graphics got better. And yes, the counting feature for items seems better. Some animations look nicer too.
But we still have issues 😂❤
The only thing I dislike about Oswald is the 170 plastic scrap he wants for his friendship quests😅

I didn't even want to buy the expansion because I was so mad about it not going free to play and me having invested in the switch version which turns out to be a really crippled product, but I'm so in love with what they've done in the premium shop I keep thinking I might actually buy moonstones.
I think the real way to spend your money in this game - the Star Path as it will never come back, but the premium shop will possibly return. But I did spend money on both. Didn't get the Bonnie's Toy one or Hei Hei. My friend who has just started playing wanted Hei Hei - he had 8000 moonstones for starting out the game and couldn't use it, it was too bad.
He is cute. Love him more than i thought i would as i never heard of him before. And also love Daisy so much. Daisy is level 10 and Oswald level 7. So fun characters and love the friendship quests. Got not even Sully ,Mike,jack,Gaston and eve level 10 yet. So Yeah blown away from this update characters. ❤❤❤❤

look like the sandworms from Beetlejuice with what they charge for the moon stones comparatively to other MMO‘s you’re getting quite a deal for the amount of moonstones you got you got 1200 moonstones for 50 bucks they get 1300 Vbox it cost $89 which is only 100 more than we get in moon stonesand they’re not charging $20 a skin you get the $50 bundle in Dreamlight valley you can buy almost everything in the shop for that week if not still have a bunch left over in there plus they gave us plenty of opportunity to get free ones and an abundance. Unlike other games they have designed this game perfectly. It’s fun you spend money on it or not.

I have switch, and I think it depends on how much free memory the system has. I have a large memory card and store as much on it as it will allow (some games like the nes, 64, sega emulators will not let you store on memory cards but will drop out if you go long periods without playing and leave the link to access). Because of that, I only experience a few crashes after major updates as the game for lack of better terms melds together ❤️ 😊
i really hope the fairywheel is coming back in the premium shop i missed that star path and i am still not happy i missed so many items with star path so i am happy they finally bring the items back slowly i don't need all items but the fairywheel is number one and really want it

Also, I'm having major issues on my PS5 and I haven't seen anyone else say that after the update so it's not surprising that the switch could be the same.
I was not looking forward to Oswald I thought he would not fit in ddv but after his quests I love him. And TOM I was bad at it I still am but I am having fun trying to make dresses.
I currently play on Switch and PC, and as of recently, I've had more lag on the PC. I luckily haven't experienced any crashing like others who play on the Switch.
Try turning off v-sync, it helped me

I saw Daisy and Donald sitting in the restaurant together it was cute.
The object clipping with the doors and wall objects makes me soooo frustrated, I’m really hoping it’s a bug as well.
I spend real money quite a lot. The alternative would have been a take out, or something random I’d likely forget. I’m fortunate that I have the funds for it, but I get so much enjoyment from this game, so I choose to spend £. DDV is one of my hobbies 😊
For some reason, my daughter’s switch lite is more stable when playing. My Xbox X has been slightly laggy, so I might go to gaming PC instead. I just hate playing in a chair instead of on a couch! Maybe I’ll bypass stones for a few weeks and buy myself a comfortable gaming chair 😂
Btw, tattoos are really freaking expensive. If you want a good one anyway

I personally don’t really care for Oswald. But he does add a different vibe to the valley and I like it. However. I hate that his house is colored on the inside and not the outside. I’d rather it be colored outside and black and white inside.
ddv doors have a bug i watched serroh and saw it the bug so you should know before buying the door:)
