I love the "Stitch of the Week" tutorials and how you share the variations of all the colors used. Thank you! Yes, you can see the textures. Have a fabulous day!😊 Respectfully, Donna
I've been waiting for the perfect stitch pattern for three colors of baby yarn that I have, to make a blanket, and I think this one is it! Thank you Glenda!
Love this pattern. All year long I crochet blankets, beanies, scarfs for the homeless so they can have something warm. I plan on doing them in the pattern. Thank you!
I so enjoy your tutorials! I love how well and simply you explain the stitches. My favorite thing you do is showing the patterns in different color combinations. Thank you so much and happy crocheting! Until next time...💖
I am so grateful I found your channel! I recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to crochet. You give such clear, concise instructions! I also appreciate your generosity with your giveaways. Thank you!!!
Thank you showing this stitch, it is perfect for using up leftovers. I have been looking for an easy textured stitch and you found it for me! :) Good to know AC Moore will be online, I am in the midwest and have heard good things about this company that is out of my driving range. Thanks again for all that you do and sharing with us!
I’ve been watching some of your tutorials as I plan on making dish towels and this one is so easy for me compared to the waffle stitch. I also appreciate how you make more than one sample in different color combinations. Thanks Glenda
Good morning glenda always love watching your tutorials. You are an awesome teacher and a wonderful person. Thank you for this tutorial love this pattern gonna make a baby blanket.😄👍
Curfew years are their colors show how you get this can you make the clock bigger I love the Stitch bigger to make like a plaid blanket thank you Glenda for all your wonderful pictures I have done a lot of yours and made it my own my family is impressed.
Love this pattern. I love the 3 different colors. A while back I bought a white, grey and teal but couldn't decide on a pattern. I'm using this pattern!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you for clear conciae training video. I have oodles and oodles of yarn and I need to start using it up. I like this stitch and worked it on sample varigated yarn. It did not turn out so well. I am now going to try it on 3 single colors of yarn. Hope it works for me.
Thank you so much for being so thorough ....I love how you go the speed I can learn and see the stitch so close.. this helps me immensely..I love this stitch! Is there an item you are going to crochet with this stitch? What edge would you use? Thanks again for all your hard work.
For this stitch pattern I would probably do a very simple plain double crochet border around it so the stitch pattern stands out, if you do a fancy border it will take away from the stitch pattern. Just my opinion, it is your preference. Have fun crocheting.
You are the best!!! I've been making a mixed stitch blanket and I have been able to use quite a few of the stitches from "Stitch of the Week!" I wish I could post a picture of it here so you could see it, but I will email a picture of it to you. Thanks again 😊😊
Jan please join my crochet facebook group Creative Grandma, make sure you answer the 3 questions when requesting to join and then you can post photos of the items you make so I can see them. Happy crocheting
I love the way you teach ! Very thorough, easy to understand! I am wondering tho, can this same method be done, but with the blocks being a little wider ? Like quilting blocks? I have tried entralac with the squares, I like that look, but this method would be easier for me. If it's possible, what would the multiples be for the initial chain? Thanks !!
I loved learning this stitch! I like how each of the swatches you showed turned out but I have to say the one using the Red Heart Fruity Stripes just pops out to me for the way all those colors blend so finely together. It's almost as if this stitch was made just for it. :) I bet it will look equally as great with any self striping yarn. I know what some of my future projects are going to be! I found myself, in my mind, referring to this as the "Tooth Stitch" as, especially with the bright white yarn, looked like little teeth popping up! :D
I love watching your videos you're very thorough on explaining how to do the stitches that you have the Stitch of the week I love all your patterns if your stitches for me or easy and some are very hard for me to do. This this Stitch of the week 241is very pretty. I am trying to make a pillow for my granddaughter and grandson I will have to get back with you on it because I am having some difficulties on it maybe you can help me with it.
Belinda just take your time and you can pause the video as you go, make sure you go to my website and download the pattern you can follow along with the pattern. go to www.creativegrandma.net click on stitch of the week at the top of my webpage
I so like seeing all the different stitches I’m only able to do single and double crochet stitch. I’m hoping to learn by videos as I can’t read directions. Please keep them coming
I am looking for a race track pattern, I don't have a picture of one or the stitches used foe one. I don't know if you or the subscribers could help me with this. I love all your videos and have learned a lot. Thank you sue.
I know this video is a couple years old, but the 1dt yome I've seen it. My question is can you ch one extra ch and sc across then ch 3 turn and start patyeren?
I love that stitch, especially in the classic white! I do need to ask you about the self striping, are you only able to stitch so far before it changes to a new color? How do you know how far you can go? If you've already covered a question about this, could you direct me? 😊 Thank you!
When using a self striping yarn you need to play around with it for the first cuple of rows, it all depends on the width of what you are making which determines when the color changes, the self striping yarn is nicer for a wider project like an afghan. What I usually do is try to work the first row and see if I can make my project wide enough so it changes colors every row or every 2 rows. I know that is not much help, but the stitch pattern can determine the color change depending on how much yarn is used per row.
I am sorry to say I never used the Bernat Baby Blanket Brights, so I am not sure, best to work a small swatch and see how it comes out. Sorry I was not more of a help.
Very nice. I love that you do three different colors. Especially in the white. Yes it does make it elegant.
Those samples! The solid color yarn really did give such a neat texture and it really did play up the ombre in the self stripping yarn 😍.
I 💙💛 this stitch. Thank you for this tutorial.
I love the "Stitch of the Week" tutorials and how you share the variations of all the colors used. Thank you! Yes, you can see the textures. Have a fabulous day!😊
