@@loganjblack At least 17 levels of assassin for death strike. No better way to do a headshot than double damage auto-crit sneak attack heavy crossbow/musket. I personally went 19 levels assassim rogue 1 level fighter for archery fighting style amd martial weapon prof. You could also do 17 levels assassin and 3 levels hunter ranger, hunter's mark making up for the lost d6 of sneak and giving you an extra d8 damage, however you loose an ABI.

I don't really know if you're gonna be catching damaged creatures by surprise all that often, the best ranger subclass (in general but also for this) would probably be gloomstalker because they increase your bonus to initiative and give you an extra shot on your first turn so you have twice the likelihood of hitting. Also I just wanna say this made me realise how similar spy and sniper would be in dnd, they'd both have loads of levels of assassin rogue but I think the way they'd differ is sniper takes 3 ranger levels wheras spy takes like 3 illusion wizard levels for disguise self and invisibility.
I'd use thunder damage for the glyph of warding personally - when an explosive gets you in real life, it's the pressure wave that dismembers you, not the stuff igniting, plus it's super freaking loud. Occasionally I just enjoy using thunder damage for the latter reason ;)

The Force Ballista makes for a pretty decent grenade launcher when you consider you can make a handheld version of it. Bonus Action Ballista to pop them up to combo with one of your grenades.

(BTW, those "pills" are called pipe bombs.)
I am a bit surprised you didn't go artificer-hexblade instead of fighter for Eyelander curse flavor. Though you would need to be more MAD and less flavorful stats. Though still great build that captures the character.
The best part is you have wicked great insults for taking down opponents Bonus points for coming up with your own making them sound extra fierce with a Scottish accent
An in character alternative if you don't want tavern brawler: Rapid Drinker feat. It gives advantage on constitution saves against getting drunk and allows you to drink potions as a bonus action

At stat allocation and I'm gonna guess a mix of Artillerist Artificer and a small amount of some type of Fighter for melee combat. Edit: Hey I was right. Very cool build. Makes you a solid close range combatant on top of being a ranged badass.
Grenades and melee sounds more like a hybrid-knight build. If you want a proper demo-knight just go with hexblade warlock for a free haunted and cursed blade with the charger and mobile feats. Spice it up with some fighter levels for the usual reasons or paladin levels if you feel like a redemption arc.

Although he did get bamboozled twice by the TF Classic mercs.
Well, after looking through various subclasses, I think I've got a potential build for the Spy if you ever get around to doing more TF2 builds. Was tempted to go variant human, but I think changeling works better for him: the shape-shifting could be done with magic to reflect it's more limited use from my understanding of how the Spy works, but idk, feel like it's better to make it an at-will innate ability. 15 for Dexterity, 14 for Charisma, 13 for Wisdom, 12 for Intelligence, 10 for Constitution, and 8 for Strength: the updated changeling lets you pick any 2 and any 1, so pump 2 into Charisma and 1 into Dexterity to round it off. The essence of the build is to go 17 levels of Soulknife Rogue for invisibility, teleportation, and powerful psychic blades that allow him to make a bonus action attack in melee or at range, thereby giving him a second opportunity to get Sneak Attack damage if he flubs the initial attack roll. After those 17 levels bring him towards getting the Soulknife capstone, dip the last three levels into the College of Whispers Bard for spellcasting abilities that can potentially cover anything Soulknife doesn't already, along with a *different* kind of Psychic Blades that you can burn your Bardic Inspiration uses to add on top of all your other damage for a grand total of 12d6 + 5/11d6 + 1d4 + 5 psychic damage on a single attack. Use the five ability score improvements to cap off Dexterity first for maximum damage, then Charisma for maximum Bardic Inspiration uses and spellcasting abilities, and either bump up another score or get a feat like Gunner to get firearms proficiency. Curious to hear what y'all think of this idea.
Spy is simple. 20 levels of Arcane Trickster for disguises, invisibility, and the big stabby. Sniper is fairly easy, combining Arcane Trickster Rogue for some Jarate and extra headshot damage with the Sharphooter feat for headshots and Sharpshooter fighter (or Samurai if you're not allowed to use Sharphooter) for proficiency with heavy crossbows (or you could use muskets if your DM isn't a coward) and stronger (Sharpshooter) or more frequent and accurate (Samurai) headshots. An accurate Scout would use a Blunderbuss, since that's basically a shotgun, but some DMs would insist that you have to use crossbows becuase guns don't exist in their setting, so take a heavy crossbow. Obviously, use the Scout subclass for Rogue, mix with Fighter for Action Surge and Extra Attack for more rapid scattergun blasting, as well as the Close-Quarters Shooting fighting style. I couldn't come up with anything for Medic, there isn't really a way to get good healing and the op effects of Uber. Heavy needs as much damage in an area as possible with a ranged weapon. So, Primeval Guradian Ranger with the Conjure Volley spell and decent damage and a Fighter dip for Action Surge. Engi is Artillerist Artificer the whole way. Soldier is basically the same build as this, only with less focus on martial combat and more on explosives. And Pyro is a Pyromancer Sorcerer with some Artificer thrown in. I tried other things and they didn't work.

I'm running something similar to this in my current campaign, except mine is a Warforged Armorer with 5 Rune Knight Fighter levels. I'm basing him off of BT from Titanfall, so he can become a huge warmachine with Giant's Might and Enlarge/Reduce. With Alchemist's tools you can make flasks of oil. One of my favorite things to do to an enemy is either cast Grease, or bust them in the face with an oil flask using Catapult, and then just hit them with a Firebolt.
Pretty sure if you have a cool DM this build could be kinda funny, since the magic item staffs have the stats of a quarterstaff and quarterstaff has "staff" in the name, you could use enhanced arcane focus and weapon bond on a quarterstaff and make a really funny build And while I don't think it's an accurate build, since 5e is not condusive to sticky traps, shield charges, or trimping, I still love this build and really wanna try it sometime
Have you considered doing builds for the Deep Rock Galactic classes? I don't think you've done many dwarfs, and seeing what they could do in a more fantasy setting as compared to the typical sci-fi would be cool!
Can you make builds for Johnny Laurence and Daniel Laruso from Cobra Kai? I think it would be pretty fun to see how two martial artists could have a similar class and even subclass, but still be unique because of what else is done differently.
I hope the Scout has levels in bard (even though a sorcerous origin reflavoured as an energy drink makes more sense) and I hope it's just an excuse for you to pronounce it "baahd." Could easily see him being a drunken monk though.
