I mentioned that I'd let you know how the eye look held up--I'm at the 5 hour mark and I have no creasing and minimal sparkle fallout from the eye look. (my shirt and arms on the other hand look like they spent overnight in a Las Vegas club thanks to all the swatching and removal hahahaha)
As someone who loves foiled looks and multichrome but not so much for glitter, I really appreciate that you clarify that the Lites have more of a more shiny shifty look than a glittery sparkly look that I know some others prefer. I think Burnish and Forge might be my favorites, but wow, they're all gorgeous.
Thank you for this video! The eye swatches were the most helpful and showed what the eyeshadows truly look like. This helped me so much to decide which I would like to buy!
You looked beautiful! I really enjoyed this video! For the jewel lites, I do like the colours Forge (prefer original more though) Trefoil, Burnish, Smoulder, Sandblast. For the Dimensional, I loved all the colors!😮💨: Tarnish (does have a more subtle shift. I see lime green some peachy yellow (!) and Hunter green.) Ferric (the grungy rose into Hunter green is stunning and what I see-not aqua!) Solder (I see the yellow even throughthe glittter!) Redox I see lilac to dark grey I actually like that. Tarnish does have a more subtle shift. I see lime green some peachy yellow (!) and Hunter green. I want to pick up the same Dimensional shades as you did!
The Jewelled lites remind me of Devinah's very first multichromes called the Butterfly Kaleidoscope. They had a grey base and weren't as shifty compares to Clionadh's black based multichromes. Times change I guess and now people want lighter based multichromes. 🤷♀️
Ahhhh I have heard of those! I do think these have more of a shift than what I know of those, but the base is probably quite similar! I think we are seeing a trend of Multichromes that aren’t quite as deep because they appeal to more people. The rich jewel tones are very pretty but maybe a bit intimidating for some, and that black base can make them harder to work with in eye looks when you can’t blend them without losing the shift.

I got into Clionadh when they started making nail polish! Now I LOVE their eyeshadows and I'm looking forward to the sale. I want to get Burnish, Ferric, and maybe Oxidize. Did you see Lyn B Designs at polish and beauty expo? I saw she had her single shadows at her booth, I have a few and they are really good, but she doesn't sell them consistently, unfortunately.
Yes I did see her! I did see some shadows at that booth-I should have checked them out but I knew I was already in for a pound with clionadh. Lyn’s polished seemed like they were good too-my friend said they’re great! She seemed very nice.

Ooh I liked pretty much all of them, BUT I’d say out of the Jewelled it would be Forge Lite and Burnish Lite. In the Dimensional, I think Tarnish and Ferric.

As much as Redox isn’t a set of tones I always go for I am so excited to use it for a fun smokey eye!
