I am so excited! I own a couple of these but after buying them a long time ago I realised that I prefer gray based multichromes. I will probably buy the lite versions of the ones I own and gift the ones I have to a friend who will enjoy them more 😊
Ouu I love that Clionadh did this! I think the biggest complaint with “jeweled” or black based MCs was the darkness left behind and not being able to blend them well. I’m gonna def be picking some up! 😍
Thank you so much for taking the time to do swatches and comparisons! I won’t be picking these up because I feel like the minor differences aren’t worth the price, and I’m quite content with the cheaper options out there.
rosette, ferric, and redux are on my wishlist. i still NEED hilt and a few others so i have to be fast!!! thank you so much for making this video!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I'm conflicted. I own quite a few original jewelled ones from clionadh, as most clionadh customers do, and they were expensive. while I'm interested in the new ones, I fear that they could make the ones I own feel obsolete. so I probably won't buy them even though I think I might prefer some over what I have. 🫠
@@louibeans I think it's difficult to judge - in practice, when you're creating a look yourself, it's probably a big enough difference. Also, like Milly pointed out, these shades in the lite series don't blend out into a charcoal colour that often makes us feel the need to deepen the crease/edges with a black eyeshadow for the most seemless transitions. I wonder if this transfers to the wear time, too - black-based multichromes tend to look dull and grey at the end of the day (if you haven't found your perfect base that somehow makes it all stay intact).
Same. I spent SO much money on buying almost all Jewelled, I have like 16 of them - and I love them, but I would love these MORE because they're more versatile. Can I justify to buy the exact same thing twice tho? Probably not :/
I have had all of their original jeweled multichrome eyeshadows and just can't see spending this much on the lite versions. I love Clionadh so much always. However, there are too many other wonderful brands/formulas that I will definitely use more!
So excited for these! I love the jeweled multis but they're starting to crease on me due to their thicker formula so I think these will work well. Thank you for your hard work & dedication showing all the shifts/comparisons/etc., we appreciate you!! xoxoxo
Now these are more me! Black based multichromes just aren’t my gig, I prefer lighter/iridescents and layering them over bases if I get that itch. I’m really liking Burnish Lite and Flame Blown Lite
Throwback to the vid that made me follow you 😆 Interesting! Some of these are so different, and I think the warmer tones & pinks/purples really benefit from the lighter base. I wonder how these feel/wear compared to originals? They look slightly more waxy and a very tiny bit less even until built up. Still beautiful, and I prefer a lot of these. Cannot wait for Dimensional video!!
I’d love to see how these will look paired together. Grey based multichromes from other brands tend to pull too grey when they’re put next to one another and that won’t suit my makeup style. It’s why I love the ShinebySD ones so much, they are so shiny and don’t have that issue.
Thank you for this hard work! This is very useful. I have never bought any of the jewelled multichromes due to the black base, but two of these go to my wishlist.
Omg so many of these look stunning! I only have two of the original Jeweled lineup - Kiln and Forge. But i really love jewel tones in general so I'm excited to try these out :) Burnish and Oculus look so good!!
Very pretty swatches. I have the Jewel and dark jewel Clionah eye shadows. I don't see much difference and wonder if its necessary the have both. Probably a pass for me.
These are beautiful. I can see some are slightly different from their original deep versions. I will pass on these. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's video😊🖤
I like the slight tonal differences in the new shades, I think it helps set them apart more. I was never a huge fan of Burnish but I think Burnish Lite is a big improvement
Thank you for the eye swatches! I think I was expecting these to be more different from the originals, they still look too deep for my preferences. Burnish Lite and Flame Blown Lite are tempting though!!
Milly, thank you so very much for these swatches (and hoping your eyes are okay after them)! I’m really struggling with picking between the OG Jewelled line and Jewelled Lite line, do you think that if layered on top of a black base, the Jewelled lite will reach the same intensity as the OG Jewelled? I definitely feel I don’t need both, but I sure would still love the intense wet metallic shift that the OG line had. Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for the video Milly! It’s really helpful! Do you think the lite formula layered over a black base would have the same effect of the regular jeweled multichromes?
Ok first of all, this is super helpful, thank you so much. Rn I have two tentative wishlist shades & three absolutely going on the wishlist shades. On the wishlist: Burnish lite Oxidize Ferric Tentative wishlist: catalyst Patina lite I don't own any of the og black based because I've just never been a huge fan of putting one shimmer all over the lid & because they're so dark & my lids are so hooded, black based feel better suited to someone with lots of lid space & prefers a smokey eye? I do absolutely adore grey based tho! Which means I own quite a few 😅 patina lite & burnish lite would potentially add something unique. Ferric & oxidize just look absolutely ridiculous & I cannot wait to hear your thoughts! I am a little disappointed the pricetag is exactly the same on the lite version, especially for folks who already own the entire collection 😬
I was surprised to see the price tag being the same as the original jewelled shades as well. I feel like these are a 2.0 and I like them better! But my preference has changed a lot since black base multis first ever became a thing a few years ago. Burnish is beautiful!
Never tried this brand but wanted to but not jeweled one more electric n then glittler so i not best to go off but i feel theyre still too dark for my liking
Hi Milly. Between Forge Lite and Kiln Lite, which one leans more burgundy and less of a bright pink because I see a lot of pink from both from the video. Thank you, Milly.
Thank you for sacrificing your eyelids for us, Milly! 😆 my lids would be burning and sad after all those swatches.
I split it up between 2 days!
I'm glad you compared the two jewelled lines! I was tempted but I prefer the black based ones personally
I think Burnish lite looks amazing and very different from the original. I had never considered Burnish until now!
I love the lite version too!!
@@badtothebrow Do you think it is different enough that I won't be disappointed if I already have Burnish? Also love the video
@@badtothebrow How does it compare with Ferric from the dimensional collection? would it be worth it to buy both?

I definitely prefer the Lite versions. I hope I'm able to score some of these gorgeous shadows!🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🖤🩶🤍
Thank you so much, Milly!! The eye swatches must be brutal, but they are so incredibly helpful! THANK YOU! 💜💚💙
As always, great video! Thank you so much for being the multi-chrome Bible! 🫶
Hehehe thank you!
I love jewel tones! I am going to try for the bundle of these. I only have the dragon fruit palette from this brand but it's one of my favorites. 💖💖💖

I feel the same way-plus, they don't look too different swatched out. Like, the "lite" aspect is not that drastic from what I've seen

I do feel like some of the black base multis overall feel obsolete as so many brands have them and they are not as versatile as other formulas.

I am sooooo buying some of these! I love Trefoil and Patina. I'm not really a black-based multi chrome girl so these are a welcome arrival.
This video was so helpful. These new shades are beautiful.
They are!
Thank you! I love these colors so onto the holiday wishlist it goes.
I am interested in these since they have a smooth texture. I have to look at what I've already got to decide what fills a gap in my collection.
Rosette shifts like whoa! That was impressive. 😍
Soooo puuurtyy

The lites are very silky smooth! Something to keep in mind is that my original jewelled multichromes are a couple of years old at this point.
@@badtothebrow good point! Mine too, lol.

So smart of clionadh to release this formula
I agree!
Forge lite looks like a three rainbow.🎉
This was so helpful, thank you so much !
Thank you for making this
Thank you 🙏🏻👍🏻
So excited for the dimensional swatches!!
They’re up!
i don't have any of the black based multichromes from them, even tho I have a bunch of other shades. But of course now I want them all.
I need to trade in my original jewelled ones to new lites 😂
I will finally try kiln. In lite version!
Hahaha 💯
Of course you’re first with this! Thanks

Kiln, Sand Blast and Burnish 😁

Kiln lite, but they’re both pinkish, kiln is just more of a magenta

These looks so pretty but appears to have major fall out. I can’t stand having glitter all over my face. (Even if I do my eyes first)
There’s no glitter and I didn’t think they had much fallout, the new dimensional multichromes do though
FIRST 🎉🎉🎉🎉
