Japanese racing is so underrated. It's awesome to see how far Jann got just through hard work and the help of a video game. Much deserved for him to be driving in the GT500 series.
How much does a GT500 driver typically earn in a year? Can you post the link to all of Jann's GT500 races.

You know a video is good when it starts with an GT-R in Gran Turismo 1.
Having lived in Japan for three years I can confirm it's a culture shock. The biggest barrier is language. Gotta love those vending machines! I still have tiny Japanese vending machine soda cans from the 90's.
This guy is living the dream, at such a young age too. Life has many good things in store awaiting him.

Cumulatively I probably spend 2-3 months of the year there, but while I love it I don't think I could live in Tokyo, Kyoto maybe.

This may sound weird but I kinda idolize Jann not only being a fan of his driving but also because he got where he is from just playing GranTurismo (a game in which, admittedly, I spend too much time on) why aren’t I in japan and racing some of the fastest cars on the planet 😂

Hes done great, but how did he get over that deadly Nurburgring accident in 2015, killing 1 and injuring several others when his car somersaulted over a fence into spectators? I dont know how anybody can get over that.
