I agree he has some great stories, but with the addition of interspersed ads the production quality and storytelling element has been diminished and become disjointed. I wish he would do ads at the very beginning or between stories and not smack dab in the middle of the story.

She remembered you from the streets!! I told her about your channel and she told me with a straight face "Get the fuck out of here". She grabbed her tablet to check for herself and said "wow, thats him". She told me that they felt safe when you guys were in the neighborhood, she said that they never had much to worry about.. Nobody knew this was gonna happen. I remember the day the news broke I was in 13. Brooklyn was heartbroken no bullshit. My father and my uncles didnt even believe it, they were convinced at first it was like a smoke and mirror play or some kinda legal posturing above their level of comprehension. It didnt take long for it to reach the neighborhood though that the movement from MDC had in fact happened and the shock set in. Alot of everyday people felt hurt by this.

My whole family is Greek, and they came to New Orleans in the early 30’s from Ellis island in New York. My father was affiliated with Carlos Marcello down here in several business dealings in downtown New Orleans throughout the 80s and 90s. I’ve met some of them when I was young being with my father. I just wanted to throw this out there in case you interacted with Carlos or with his son’s during your time being active. He could have made up 10 different credible stories why he got false flagged for drug use and no one would have disputed it. Instead, he instantly admitted to something that many that came from that life would have been super embarrassed to have anyone know - that he went in for Botox. So yeah, if he’s being honest about these details that could easily embarrass him when he doesn’t need to, that tells you what he’s about.

To be totally fair, a lot of what he’s talking about is backed up by court records, news reports and other accounts from the time he’s discussing.
Sure, a lot of the insignificant details and little things can’t be confirmed, but if there was anyone out there with ANY proof (be it first, second, or third hand), they’d be racing to youtube channel or news outlet to prove him a liar. That hasn’t happened. It tells me such proof doesn’t exist. In fact, he apparently doesn’t even have enough enemies to fabricate something that paints him a liar. Pretty impressive for someone in his line of work.
Finally, as the saying goes “history is written by the victor.” Sammy is alive, on the street, with his family, happy and successful. He gets to tell HIS story. He won.
