    They are so far ahead of their time.
    Wish they still made them today !
    Just have to be priced affordably.
    They were expensive back then (worth every penny) but when you can hardly afford to buy a used anything, $300.00 bucks was about all a kid could come up with.
    These were something like $10 K knew that I would Never have one.

    Had the 85 odyssey growing up. Such a good core memory!

    You might want to take a closer look at your FL350 head. The early 85s had a recall on the heads that had straight fins. There were a lot of overheating problems with the early straight fin heads. The replacement head from Honda had Y-shaped fins on top. This Y shape redirected the air from the scoops over the whole head, fixing the overheating problems.

    would they run different w 87 vs 93 octane?

      @sp4604 no. Octane doesn't affect power. Higher Octane is meant for higher compression motors to prevent predetonation. These aren't high compression motors in the stock form.
