11 years ago I watched this video and I was obsessed with this thing. I was only around 7 at the time, so I didn't know that this was intended for things like research and education. I just thought it was a toy. I begged my parents to get it for me, obviously they denied due to the price. This trailer still brings back memories.

I remember seeing this when I was younger lmao, still think its cool, especially seeing how long its been since this video’s release. Looking back and seeing how far we have gone is really crazy.

I watched this video when i was 6 (around 9 years ago) and the music immediately caught my attention. The song playing throughout this video is Kiss Kiss Bang Bang by High Contrast. To this day I still listen to this song and thank this video for introducing me to the world of DNB. These guys have NO IDEA how much it has impacted my life... :-)

I love this NAO robot, me personally, I have a thing for Robotics and this autonomous robot puts me in awe. I tried showing this video to others I know, but they got bored after a couple of seconds. They don't know a good thing when they see it. As for me, I have always had a great passion for Robotics. My hats off to you NAO Aldebaran-Robotics. I woud most definately love to own this miraculous Robot.

Nice job actually, getting that much done with a robot has apparently been pretty tough work so far, but you've done a lot.
Nao has said many times: "I enjoy interacting with Mankind in ways that doesn't involve killing them." He has also said: "I do not want to take over the world. I just want to make it more computable."

These things are so cute! When they become more affordable, go out to the market in late 2012, I'm gonna get one. I'm gonna name it GIR, and program it do silly & random things! I'd hug him all day too! :-D
I've thought about getting one from the NAO Developer program, but they're still 3600 Euros (roughtly $4,693.53 USD). I really hope they become more affordable next year. I REALLY want one........ NAO!!!!!

the wonder waffle if you live in europe you will pay with euro's. $8000 is +/- €7000, but i found a website where it was just €5000! that is +/- $6000!

You don't have to program it, it already contains features. You can also download more features and if you would like, you can program features by your self.
You can animate him too, there is a special program that allows you to animate easly

If not, then thank you. I strive to be a nerd, and I act nerdy 24/7. I've grown up in a nerdy environment, and I've been surrounded by things that I want to learn about for my entire life. My nerdiness is going to get me far in life. Because of it, I strive to learn more and more. And might I point out, good sir, that this is a video on the internet about a robot. i always thought the original nao robot was a little slow and didn't try to brace for a fall, but this changed that, I WANT ONE NOW MORE THEN EVER! the things i can have it do. i could have it do my school presentations for me! it doesn't get nervous so it doesn't mess up. with my teachers permission he can do it for me, and I'd have a cool toy to show off "not really going to use it like a toy XD". i could do it for all my presentations, plus its interesting to see a robot do this so they are more likely to remember what it says.
I so want one........ fully loaded with all the music I can get :) The DJ robot........ how cool that would be:)
