My 2 year old heard me listen to this video and started crying... as a woman, I feel more than qualified to tell you that you aren't discouraged from expressing these emotions because you are a woman. It's not that new. Primal Scream Therapy was all the rage for a bit. I've also seen the male version of this with these new "masculinity" camps. All kinds of other release therapies existed as well. The older I get the more appealing stoicism becomes. If I'm feeling frustrated I find a brisk walk or some exercise provides a release for pent up emotions.
