I've always thought this song has to do with salvation and being saved. When I was saved, even though I was only about 7, I remember being so excited and so filled with happiness and telling everyone. c: Even though my earthly father probably doesn't love me because he walked out on us, I know my heavenly Father treasures me...
If anyone has seen her testimony on here, I think that she was inspired by her salvation experience, also. It's such a touching video- almost brought me to tears.

Love this song way too much! Love Flyleaf for their passion and love for God! I started to listen again the songs of my youth, Fireflight, Flyleaf, and others! Such great lyrics honestly, and uplifting with the power of God! I have no idea why I stopped listening them again for years. I really needed them way so much! We should share these songs with the people around us!
Yep. Lacy has a awesome born-again testimony as well.
I think the song has a dual meaning. It's about her getting married, but it is also about being saved and accepting Jesus Christ as your savior.

this is about her proposal as in fiance proposal because in an interview she tlks about it and she says how he proposed and what not...i think. i saw that interview long time ago so i dont rememebr exactly
@wasabipanda That's not the point. A christian song can be about how happy the way you turned out to be, the way God made you. That's why she's singing about how much of a precious treasure she is because God created her. And in Beautiful Bride, there is no doubt that is a Christian song. Look up those lyrics.

He doesn't listen to non-Christian music. And my friend from college is the same way. He "ONLY" listens to Christian music also and Flyleaf is one of them.
