Since she knew John would need to complete the blood oath, if she had her brother killed, would John's oath have passed to her? She could then have canceled the oath or used it for something else. But then we would haven't gotten another 2-1/2 movies.

Plus, John Wick Chapter 3 hinted that the High Table's origins can possibly be traced to the Hashashins (Order of Assassins). The High Table Council Members can fight but they smartly know they have no chance of fighting and defeating John Wick (Baba Yaga). Therefore, they send veteran Assassins like Zero and Caine to do the job.

I hope they bring another similar personality to her character which is sneaky & play dirty that's why I like her hahaha & really suits the original JW vibe coz her fighting style (raw).. Ares she's kinda protocol style & clean fight.. Sofia, probably has bigger & better range from Perkins & Ruby, her fighting style similar to JW.. Akira she's definitely badass & her fighting style very sophisticated..

There is potential spoilers in what am about to write so for those who have not watched JW4 yet and do not want to know certain things. Reading is your choice..... Of all the female characters Akira is definitely my favorite. But, if she is to be successful she will have to get rid of the "revenge" that will in the end lead to her downfall. We know from the talk that the JW4 director said that Akira does in fact kill Caine and it was filmed, just was not shown. I feel though it was a death that didnt need to happen. If Akira stopped and thought about it her father had to die. If he didnt Akira and her father would have been hunted down. The fact her father died. Means she was not considered in violation of the rules and therefore not hunted down. Caine only done what he done because he was worried about his daughter. Yet in the end he never killed JW and in fact assisted. Likewise Akira's father done what he had to do to save his daughter. My personal thoughts is that Akira will eventually be the one taking over from JW. Maybe through teaming up in that I do not know. Keanu Reeves has said he is not keen on doing another movie as in JW5 as it is taking him too long to recover afterwards. If not then maybe it will be he has retired and we get to see more of Akira. I do not believe that he is in fact dead which is what was hinted at in the end of JW4. I think that was a cover to take the heat off him and to let him truly break free. Or it could have simply been an undefined ending that way if does agree to another movie then they can and if he doesnt then well that is already covered. If he does agree to do another one then maybe that will be the handing over of the mantle so to speak and possibly him and Akira working together.
John Wick movies are also establishing some good worthy villains that are also female , not just like to worship or down the throat feminine equity nowadays of PC era crap.
John Wick adoptive sister Katia Jovanovich (Your blood is my blood, your pain is my pain and your life is my life in John Wick 4) going for revenge and take down the high table with the help of Akira the Japanese assassin and Sophia (Halle Berry).
Ares isn't an Assassin she is a Body Guard. In the Assassin world there is an enormous amount of respect from one Assassin to the Other. Ares had no respect for John nor he for Her. She took her orders from Santino not the high table.
Definitely don’t care to see the Adjudicator any more. Her character seemed rushed and very shallow. That and Ruby Rose is always ass. All of her characters seem to try and be overly macho and play into the strong lesbian stereotype.
