P.s the programmer sets the health back to 100% but for whatever reason decided not to work this time. Still no annoying battery message

Same Issue for me. Doing this on the device never worked. Had to use a USB A to USB C High quality OEM Cable to connect to windows. Use the Qianli Space software to reset it. Spent way too much time on this issue.

The Battery board retains data from the old battery. if the Board is not reprogrammed - (my programmer malfunctioned) the battery will stay at its original health. Thanks for watching!

So let's say that I want to replace my battery, and if I skip or this process doesn't work, the new battery will only USE 88% of its capacity? Or is it just a software thing and will work as intended?

That new battery, although it’s not original looks super slick and smooth cuz it doesn’t have any print on it.

hopefully with the repair program, you can still have battery health even if you replace it yourself
I'd assume it would since you'd buy a genuine battery from them and they're supposedly giving access to update the serial number/validate it.

If they don’t then it isn’t a legit repair. I hate the frickin warning messages that pop up when you replace shit. If I’m getting parts directly from the company that made the phone, absolutely nothing should be different about the phone when the repair/replace is done.
Apple is never gonna sell parts. Its just talk.
I didn't see you hook an aftermarket battery up to it before replacing it with the new battery with original BMS iv seen people do it that way and retain 100% battery health think im going to try it was hoping you would cuz you have the welder already. thanks for everything you do.

Also, if you cut the battery board like he did, do not cut both terminals at the same time, or else spark
this is by far the hardest way to get rid of that error tho sadly there is no better solution yet

No, usually the battery health does not show at all. I used a new battery to make the battery health show. Programmer is supposed to restart the health back to 100% but it malfunctioned, so instead we still have battery health but its at the old value

When you get into cutting and soldering pieces on lithium batteries that are known of being highly fire hazard is something to think about it. Just to avoid an error message heck no. You could be sleeping at night and a tiny spark inside start a fire you burn an entire house with everybody inside just for a phone just put a new battery do not cut nothing.

They can’t be soldered.
How do you check the battery health?
Go to settings, scroll down to battery, then battery health and you should see your phone’s battery

Firstly you sayin we're going change the 11 pro battery without annoying messages and after opening the display you sayin "12 pro has to battery connections" and switching up the battery from 88% to 90% max is not bigg deal. Install the new battery crunch and good as new!

To keep battery health data
Wasteful to replace a battery with 88% health. And an aftermarket battery was used which will probably have a significantly shorter lifespan (will degrade faster) than the original.
