    Hey Clay,
    I'm really enjoying your videos, man! As someone that doesn't have a lot of money to invest (lets say around $1k), what would be the best route to take in trading? A lot of my friends have suggested penny stocks, but i'm not really sure what they are or how much risk is really involved with them. I'm am very new to the idea of stock trading (and by very new, I mean like a couple weeks in to doing a little research) and honestly have not much of an idea what I should be doing. I still can't find explanation to why the stocks work like this; I understand that when a company is doing well, their stocks go up because people demand them more - but why do they demand them more? If they receive no dividends, then there's no benefit to owning them shares, other than the pretense that it will grow because other people are going to invest.. But I can't understand why people would invest, other than with the same notion that others will invest as well..

    • @claytrader

    • @luke5398
      @luke5398 7 лет назад +17

      But it makes no sense as to why that trend started - it's just a thing right? I'm guessing the top dogs told the bottom dogs that they should invest in the companies that are performing better, even though it has absolutely no benefit to them whatsoever, as it just sounds like it should be right?

    • @KobeBryantt237

    Hi Clay,
    As you mentioned in AAPL example that the company grows and it increases the revenue hence the profit, if this profit is not shared among the shareholder (dividend) why would someone like to pay higher price. And if investors do pay higher price ,does it mean that they are hoping for company to pay dividend one day? if share price increases ,doesn’t it imply that investor is hoping that some idiot will pay higher price than he did and cycle will continue?

    I have a 12 year old has saved his money over a year. I want him to invest it. What stocks are good to buy for his age. How many times during the week do you check your stock... Stock sounds like legal gambling lol

    • @claytrader
      @claytrader  7 лет назад

      Wow, good for him! Given he is 12, he just should be focused on "investing" right now, and I go over in detail those very questions your asking by mapping out step-by-step my personal investing strategy - claytrader.com/courses/grow-rich/
