6 cubs!!!! I spend a lot of time outdoors, and have been lucky enough to have spotted sows and cubs many times, but the most I have ever seen with one sow was three. Is this something you have seen before? Be interesting to know if that big girl regularly gave birth to litters. Nice to see you guys kept your heads and made a good shot when a miss could have made it a really bad day. This is really a well done and entertaining video. Thanks.

Yah, we too hunt in a heavily populated Grizz area; In all my years hunting, we allowed Grizzlies 11 of our moose.... Few close calls too...10 ft away when that big ol Sow dropped... too bad for the cubs too... Never hunted bear... just happened to choose an area where there are lots of bear.... When you can hear the breathing and smell the bear...you know that they are close....

Had to have been there, did our best to edit the footage we were lucky enough to get. The bear was just getting his pins under him when I bailed out of the tent. My entire career I have told hunters do not shoot off-hand. As quick as it happened, there was time to take a knee and shoot. The camera man “Ted Barnett, is now head of Media for the DALLAS Cowboys. Entertaining video, but I have to question the authenticity of the encounter with the bear within the camp. The way the guy runs out of the tent and drops to his knee and takes aim, and the second hunter stands near him in the upright position. The bear is literally 3 to 5 yards away so why drop to your knee and steady your aim as though the bear is 100 yards away? and why does the camera man choose to record the hunter's actions instead of trying to capture the bear on camera? It seems staged in my opinion. Entertaining, but not actual footage of a close encounter.
TRIBALISTIC if you're standing while getting charged you tend to shoot over the bear it's best to get eye level to shoot anything charging you

Tribal, it is kinda strange he shoots twice out the back of the tent but the Bear ends up laying way around the other side of the tent, anything is possible but does seem ???
And the camera man sure did get his camera rolling fast for being surprised in the tent, Very entertaining though.
@@rockyreynolds4027 You take a knee at longer range, no less than 40 or 50 yards. 1) to steady aim and 2) because the charging animal offers a larger target and exposes vitals in a charge at eye level, otherwise you stand to be able to dodge an attack and shoot.

Back in the day where tree huggers weren’t offended by everything including hunters, kudos to the hunt, but did the bear really try to get in the tent or was that staged. I’ve not seen a brown drop like that and be dead instantly. Even with excellent shot placement
People are so suspicious these days. I think a brownie will drop that fast if you take out it’s nervous system. Otherwise, they can keep going long enough to kill you depending on how far away you are and if they know where you are. Lots of people have been mauled by ‘dead’ bears.

Six cubs?? Record
Hunting bears (especially the Kodiaks) is extremely dangerous. They have a scent range of about 6 miles and often times they end up tracking even the most skilled Big Game Hunters. It takes tremendous balls, keen senses and skill to kill one. People kill giant bears with bows all the time so a .338 or .308 any of them will work, although my personal pick would be .338 with 225 grain nosler partitions.
Amanda Brown I would go with a .350 Remington Magnum, model 700.

No guide I’ve seen would recommend a 308. Not enough gun to be safe. Your personal pick is much better. Lots of hunters go with 375 H&H and even bigger for the giant coastal bears.

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out.
Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!!!!!
