Singapore's president does not have any powers except releasing reserves. The real power lies in the Prime Minister which has always been Chinese. President election is a smokescreen to show racial cohesion by electing different races. FYI, Singapore already had an Indian President, Sellapan Ramanathan who served as the sixth president of Singapore between 1999 and 2011. He was also the longest-serving president in Singapore's history.

Just like in India, the president's duty is for window dressing (rubber stamp) only, that's why they (the oligarch) don't appoint a Brahmin to be president for obvious political reason. Only RSS sarsanghchalak (chief) is always a Brahmin.

Coming back to the comment what would they serve is a bit challenging to answer. Its because at every 1 to 2 km the dialecte changes the dishes changes and the style of spice use changes. Its so diverse.
But Mainly what ive found is that north indian food is quite in demand always. However, trust indian food is not just limited to north Indian region food. I would suggest a food combination of major regions like south west north east territories

Why don't you say SEMs are the same ethnicity as Marathis and Punjabis when they are in the same country, sub-continent and continent unlike Lanka which is separated by an ocean and is part of the Lemurian continent? Tamil is a language and that too a Lankan one, not a nationality. Could the Subcontinentals defeat an army proportionately larger than themselves such as the Indian army was to the Lankan army? Your army doesn't even have the balls to take on China which has the same population 🤣🤭💀 Is there any Ceylonese oral or written records which state the Ceylonese come from the Subcontinent? Singapore had previously many non-chinese presidents, so nothing extraordinary. What's be extraordinary is when the PM is a non-chinese, because it had never happened before. Not because Chinese Singaporeans are racists, it's because PM traditionally has never been elected by the public. SG largely kept the British style of government, where the PM (Head of State) is elected by the Members of Parliament, so we public actually don't have a say whom we want to have as the PM.

President is just a ceremonial role except that he now has the second key to the reserves.
