      these fish don't live up north where I am and I've heard the hums to I doubt its the fish. I think its from solar / gamma radiation reverberating off our magnetic field.

      Some people think that because they live in ignorance of the possibilities around them. Those noises could be this fish, some other natural weather phenomena, trains, factories, etc, but instead of thinking of a logical answer people prefer to freak out and think it’s aliens, the government, or God.
