  • We spent two months in Colorado over the holidays and we had so much fun with family and friends. We really wanted to connect and unplug, and we got to do that.
A week before Christmas (and a week and a half before driving to Florida) we moved into our new fifth wheel: a 2021 Heartland Cyclone 4007. It was quite a whirlwind between moving, Christmas, frigid temperatures, and getting sick. We’re just glad we were off school for that time!
You’ll get a glimpse at the new trailer and hear some of our upcoming plans for 2023. We can’t wait to share more of the journey with you.
⭐️We're a fulltime RVing family of four making our way all over the country in our 44 foot fifth wheel. Follow us on social media or subscribe to our weekly email for the most current updates.⭐️

Just found you and subscribed! Yes, I had a boy's life, too. Except when my boys were 9 & 13 we adopted a 5 wk old baby girl from Peru. She is now grown up and has 2 girls of her own. Like your channel and glad to see u headed for warmer weather. When I was 5 I lived in CO for a yr., fond memories. We moved from CA to WI, and, I hate the SNOW!

Thanks so much for subscribing! We grew up in Colorado, but we're not fans of the cold and snow at all! So happy RVing enables us to be in warmer weather in the winter.

What are the specs on the new rig?

It's a little longer at nearly 45 feet and heavier as well (I'd have to look at up). It's a bit of a beast!

@@thervinglife Curious, it's important to know all the specs to make sure the rig is a good match for the towing vehicle.

@@balbi7590 Yes, definitely! It’s too much to list it all here, but Jeremy made sure our truck could tow it safely before we switched to the new rig.

@@thervinglife Have you actually weighed your rig as outfitted? With a SRW 3500 I would be concerned about the weight on your rear axle. I have a similar setup; 39' triple axle toy hauler and a 2015 SRW RAM 3500 and when I rolled over a CAT scale with the rig loaded for a trip, I was 1200# over the rear axle weight and 2000# over the max combined vehicle weight for the truck. Note I WAS under the MGVW for the trailer itself. The 6.7 pulls it just fine power wise, but I was always concerned about stopping and overall stability. I switched to an HDT and life is less stressful! Happy travels...

@@unklemilty That's good info and a good idea to weight it just to be sure, thanks!
