Thanks for that bit of history, love to hear about the heritage of other countries, Nessebar is beautiful full of beautiful buildings, cant wait to see it in July
Looks like 6 january is big great day for the celebrations perfect weather too same thing happened to me a few weeks back fell over on steps hurted my shoulder it went after a few days how did that happen? Marion and finbarr
I really enjoyed the part where we were getting brewed with your camera in the coffee pot! That's quite creative. The festival was quite nice and bravo to the young man that retrieved the cross (hope he gets the right girl). Is the lucky seaweed going to make it to the dinner table or possibly as a decoration in your apartment in Sunny Beach? I have watched seaweed being harvested both in Japan and Indonesian during my travels, but was surprised to see this happening in Nessebar. Thanks for keeping us up yo date on the local events in your area and it's always great to see you & Susan putting out such wonderful videos for us to watch. Keep up the good work!😉😊💓
Susan has made displays of the seaweed with crystals and fake flowers. It's more difficult to make interesting videos in winter but I have spent a lot of time learning how .it is also taking time to plan then shoot extra video , we do parts several times in the end .
Dear Susan & Andrew, Happy New Year to you. We wish you all the best and looking forward to meet you both soon in Sunny Beach or Nessebar this summer. Please be advised that the music you added to your lovely giude video here is not traditional bulgarian music and it's a authentic turkish music which can be find inapropriate for most of the bulgarians. Also as a proffesional musician I can advise where you can find online bulgarian authentic music for free use. Many thanks for promoting loveley Sunny Beach and Nessebar Bulgaria to the world and please accept our sincere wishes. Oli & Gill, Romford, Essex, UK
The music is classed as balkan, the musician is Serbian, I am not personally a music person or fan, I use you tube non copyright library all the time. Biggest problem is removing the music in the background whenever in sunny beach it just fills the streets and leads to problems with copyright . I don't mention the music here it's just to fill the background . There are lots of sources of music but it's an afterthought with me at present ,this is just fun for us. I dont know why people would class us as serious travel documentary videos, they are just our take on things being British based in the area, a hobby to fill our time that's all.
I used to go on the annual school holiday to Belgium every year and the hotel would serve us seaweed soup every day but to be fair it was quite tasty if not a little gritty ssometimes .Have a great day.
Hi Andrew and Susan. Myself and my husband are coming to sunny beach in the summer. This will be my first time visiting Bulgaria and my husband's first time abroad. We were wondering if you could recommend reasonably priced things to do and places to eat. Tia Lisa
Hi, I'm hoping to come with my family to sunny beach last week of may and first week of June, can u tell me if the weather's nice then as I've been told of lots of thunder storms at that time of year, cheers
As heat first builds we can get them late in the day. Or evening but normally pass quite quickly. As it's still green here then the hot days can cause showers as ground dries out weather is warm then mus 20's upwards. We had problems last year with Facebook groups and lots of false advise ie take a coat coat and brolly when it was 30c and noir a cloud in the sky last year Spain and Greece were washed out early season far worse than here.
Throwing the cross into the Epiphany water is a custom that is kept both in villages and cities. After the end of the service on the day of the Baptism of the Lord, the people start in procession together with the priest towards a flowing water. The priest or bishop throws a cross into the water, and the young people dive to retrieve it. IT'S NOT A FESTIVAL, pay attention to the vocabulary ! Like 63
It was said that the throwing and recovery of the cross from the water at the celebration of the Baptism of the Lord, symbolizes the entry and exit of Christ from the water of the Jordan. And the competition of the young people to remove the cross from the water as quickly as possible is based on the fact that Christ came out "immediately" from the water (because He had no sins, had nothing to confess and therefore did not have to stay longer in Jordan).
Dzień dobry, dobra robota 👏👍

Chinese in UK get it a lot
What actual soup or crispy fried cabbage?
@@darrenohare4717 Crispy seaweed as part of the starter.
Most Chinese in UK actually use cabbage not seaweed 😮.

You will love Nessebar only a couple of miles away. Get the bus to Burgas, cafe culture city with parks, beaches and shopping.
@@sunnybeachlife5860 thank you so much, we check those out, I love history so I'm particularly excited to visit nessebar ❤️

8:08 Deutsche hehe 💪🏻😃
Yes actually twin sisters who live here. There are many Germans here now including our neighbours in kosharitsa.
@@sunnybeachlife5860Yeah... Sunny Beach is in Britisch hands and Golden sands in German hands 😅😂
@@evilwigga9201 British are a minority in Sunny Beach too. There are many more Irish, mistaken for British of course.
@@sunnybeachlife5860Oh Okay thx for information.
But all the sunny beach RUclips creators I watch are English 😊
you should go in the water lol
Susan does in winter.
01:55 love the Joe Biden impression 😂
Few years behind him just practicing.
