the problem with those dumbbells is that they will be loose in to time, newer dumbbels come welded into one piece, no loose bolts and screws..
If the weld holds up sure.. if not good luck. At least with bolt u have options for repair.

Always amazes me when I see the machines/tools they work with out in India...and yet they still don't have any running plumbing/sewer system. who needs a toilet when you can just go in the street, I guess.
