I thought the same thing! That was my first thought
I loved the movie. This interview frustrated me. Exactly what happened to The Mustangs and JB Peńa 70 years ago, is happening on this interview. Dennis Quad, the white actor is being focussed on, including his son and his birthday whilst the two American actors with Mexican heritage who could speak to the movie’s core message better than anyone are having to smile through whilst some inane questions are being asked. Take a lesson from the movie. Disappointed by the interview panel and I wanted to hear more from Cheech Marin and Jay Hernandez. Dennis Quad did well to answer politely and try to constantly circle back to the film and the co-stars.
Exactly what I was thinking. It’s why I went to the comments. Many of us are the children of migrant workers who came from all over Texas and lived this life. They completely missed the point.
I was thinking the same thing and came to the comments to see if I wasn't the only one thinking this.

I hope that Racism ends .😢 Theres so many movies about white people being racist towards other races. I believe i've watched them all including Ghandi the movie. Why do white people feel the need to hate others by their skin color or languages , religion. I'm Indian , and i love everyone the same and even the ones that hate me cause of the color of my skin . Even tho they might not know me . People lets put all that negative energy of racism and end it. God would love all of us respect eachother , loving , caring , and be there for eachother.
