Ryohei serving reminds me of Oikawa from Haikyuu, the way he changes from attacking and defencing, Blocker to setter is just superb team player. Nice debut match, may the team improve further from this~!

the coach is made for variety. in the previous episode, he was also the one that noticed the couple tees.
even though in the game, jota doesn't get the screen time a lot. but PD makes sure he get enough screen time in training or in outings. satisfaction from jota fans ! but let ryohei shines too please !

Ryohei is honestly the best. If they gave him more opportunities to power hit, it would be very obvious. Just look at his serving for example. His sets are also amazing. Without good sets you can’t get good hits. All around best player.

Spikes are cool and all, but dang I wanted more closeups of Ryohei's tosses. They're so good! The man man deserves way more praise, but setters are def less in the limelight than strikers. It's the same in soccer with midfielders/center positions. (don't mind me watching this years late)
Everytine I see a young man/girl eat like Jota did, I get this wierd nostalgic feeling on how much the music industry sucks every bit of sweat and energy and dreams of these new rising idols. Looking at Jota enyoing the food makes me feel like overprotecting him in a motherly way.... I really dont know how to explain myself but i feel sadness. But dont get me wrong, I wish and send Jota the best of the good vibes for him to be mega succesful.
Sarahi's Busy World I thought I was the only one who thought this way how he was eating as if he hadn't eaten really good in days and by the looks of his dorm he shares with like 7 other people it seems like he HAS not eaten really good in days which is why everyone needs to stab his group and help them reach fame so he can have the luxury he deserves for being such a hard worker and I wish the best for him and his group

Yes, but the only way to get a good hit is to get a good set and to get a good set you need a good pass. It comes down to the passer. The passer determines how good the play will be, I mean they all do but the passer gets the first touch so they have to make it worth it and if the setter can pick it up and get a good set then the job is done all they need is for the hitter to secure it and get the point ! I don’t think that’ll make sense to like anyone reading this but it makes sense to me and my team 😂
I got this feeling from the Judo series as well but it seems like they've cut out the training and growing of the members entirely. Sure the matches are the most exciting part of Cool Kiz but without showing most of the growth in skill level of the members, I think they're missing the best part of any kind of sports show. So I wish they'd show more of the training. And not just the team practices but the individual sessions as well.

Hakjin and Jota looks like a newly weds here. Hakjin as the groom and Jota as the bride. Jota should go to Bromance show honestly. He always have a bromance in any show he went XD The game is fun as well. I played volleyball too and it is really awesome and fascinating to watch the game here. I can learn their skills as well. ryohei and hakjin is like kageyama and hinata.. donghyuk is a good blocker.. jaeyoon's also a good player.. jota, mansoek, kangnam and hodong can improve more..overall they can make a great team with more practice..they totally remind me to HAIKYUU!! and KARASUNO!! good job guys 💪💪👍👍👏👏✊✊

Some many things happened in this episode. Honestly, I'm on so happy for them even though they lost. I ship #hata so much ⛴❤️ that moment when manseok headed towards hodong's legs at 1:02:33 made me think of a dirty thought 😂 every time royhei sets, hakjin spikes or donghyuk blocks, I feel so accomplished. I feel that even though cool kidz may have lost, they would feel great to have competed against a strong team and only lost by a few points. I know this for the fact that I have also played in volleyball competitions. Cool kidz are definitely getting the hang of this sport and teamwork is building up! Fighting!!!

The girl's team was awesome, the way they pushed on even though there was the difference in strength and all. The match also showed that cool kiz has the potential to be a great team. Looking forward to the next match :D
I did not pay attention to it last week because it was not an actual match, but they could sit two or three people out. You only need or people to play. That middle school team is pretty good. It's cute how Jota knows everything about Judo, but with Volleyball he's a like a baby deer. The team is coming together. I think this is the quickest that has happened since I started watching this show.
I came here because of Jota but ended up falling in love with Hakjin 😂😂😂 He's freaking cuteee. His bromance with Jota 😂😂😂

Am I the only one who thinks this season progressed too fast? We never saw them do passing drills, practice rotations, etc. Its nice to see them train because then by the end you can really see how much they improved. Hopefully there's more to this season then just the games. I say, this team really needs to work on passing lol. Maybe if they actually played with the correct amount of people on the court it wouldn't be so confusing for them backrow.

Watching this episodes after the two aces of judo.... Lee Jaeyon and Jota... they are good player even they never play volleyball before... I fell in love with Jota and Hakjin bromance and the coach even shipped both of them...
it would be good if they stick to the original rules with 6 players and do rotation tho :/ I think they will connect the ball better that way. They are good at spiking but still need to work on their receive cause boys serve and spike will be more powerful later. And ryohei did a good job! xD I like how he tossed the ball evenly to the spiker (so the girls not only aware of left side (hakjin))

Since they are playing against a middle school team, I'm curious as to what height the net is set at. I'm going to assume that it'll be at the height the girls usually plays.
Set 1: Kangnam gets exposed. He even gets hit/brushed on the head with a spike. His skill here is lacking. Hakjin is trying to do a bit too much. He needs to settle down a bit and let the game come to him. His spikes are good, but that could be of two things: net height (at girls level) and the height at which he makes contact with the ball against the blockers. He is almost as tall as the top of the net. His jumping allows him to spike the ball over the blockers. I'll wait to see how he does against some boys team where they can jump as high as he does. Aside from that, his form is still good.
Set 2: I'm glad the coach pointed out to Kangnam at 47:40 to tell him why he keeps messing up on the receiving end of a serve. Kangnam has been doing that (even in the 1st set). MVP in this set for Ryohei for getting the ball to the right people. That last set to Donghyuk surprised the girls -- they probably expected Hakjin to get the set.
Set 3: The girls coach teaches them the technique to block Hakjin's spike (52:14). No wonder they haven't been able to stop him. Kang Ho Dong got 6-packed. At 58:16, Kangnam didn't learn what the coach said to him in Set 2 (same technique in 1:02:16). Hakjin doing too much at 1:04:27 (a disservice to Jota and the area he's supposed to cover). At 1:09:52, Hakjin is next to Kangnam to make sure he doesn't touch the ball on the serve, LOL. Trust your team mate, Hakjin.
Overall: It's really their first game, so don't put too much weight on it. Hakjin was merely unstoppable. However I really want to see his game when playing against a boys team where they can jump as high as he can. Jota disappeared into the wind. Jaeyoon needs to work on his timing for his spike. He seems to be hanging in mid-air waiting for the ball to come down. He also needs further training on his spike (more swat-like at the moment) motions. Kangnam needs to learn to do what the coach said at 47:40. MVP for Cool Kiz goes to Ryohei for distributing the ball all over instead of just only to Hakjin. This keeps the blockers guessing as to who will get the set.
Onward to the next game!

I think I have to agree with you,I hope they will follow the volleyball rules and proper rotation so the others will have a chance especially jota,I think he has the potential if given the chance..
