Anyone that fought in world war II and survived has my deepest respect more than anyone in this world because the horror that they saw should not be allowed to happen again and they saw to it that it never did also shout out to the Jewish Marines that participated in the European front you have my deepest respect
And before you start yelling at me about are you not respecting the dead you misunderstand I respect them equally what I'm trying to say is the ones you came home when the ones that had to carry that pain with the rest of their lives what they saw what they did how many friends is dying in foxholes how many people throats slit in front of them in combat how many letters they had sent home to the wives of their friends that didn't make it
That my friends it's something that no one should have to live with
Also f*** Patton and I don't have to explain my reasons why just that he was an a****** treated as soldiers like tools look no further than D-Day sure he gave a speech but it was hollow words just boost the morale is if it's so called tools we all know that there was a better way of doing D-Day how we could have prevented the amount of casualties we had on that day sure we had a surprise attack on them from the fog and then germans were scrambling to get to their positions but was it really worth the cost of that many soldiers in one hour alone US Marines were dropping like flies on that godforsaken Beach not just u.s. Marines other allied forces that had partaken in The invasion I can't even begin to imagine the casualties in the mornings I had to do a casualty report walking along that beach with dismembered bodies some without heads cuz they've been blown off people sawed in half by mg42 machine gun fire without a doubt one of the worst wars ever waged and also the most costly in my eyes and no doubt the world's eyes for all you Patton fans if I pissed you off it's because I had a friend I had a grandfather that participated in D-Day the whole speech part that's how he described it being Hollow words I'm just repeating what he told me from when he was a kid

    • @buddybluegaming3222
      @buddybluegaming3222 5 лет назад +1

Also I'm German but never been to Germany that isn't the reason why I hate Patton the reason is because he was so disrespectful to the surrounding area and did something really unnecessary when you cross the Rhine River
You know what he did? He took a piss saying see this boys see this River I'm going to piss in it
And that's why I hate him took unnecessary measures and guess who was under his command what was in the rear lines none other my friend's grandfather and that day he lost all respect for that general
Pair that up with him stealing some artwork from Europe I'd say he deserved that fatal car wreck as well as that spearhead that pierced Christ's chest yeah funny story Hitler had it and he stole it from Hitlerthe only reason Hitler at is because he stole it from Italy namely the Vatican those people didn't meet with good ends did they and as soon as he got stateside that's when the wreck happened now I think of it is divine retribution basically God say no f*** you and that spearhead got returned back to Italy it is considered a holy artifact the time of Christ now I'm atheist but I can still see them clearly that was divine intervention still atheist to this day

If someone ever did that to my family he would be thrown out the door and not get up for a while, or running because he is being threatened with a knife. For me its just unimaginable for something like that to happen, not to let him fucking tell me off and walk around, I'd grab the nearest knife or screwdriver or anything, walking into someones home unwanted is a perfect step to quickly get beaten or even worse, at least for me.

That last story really got to me. My father was a WW2 vet, and when he got into his late 70's-early 80's, he loved crosswords. I used to buy him books all the time. One day I had gone to the grocery store to pick up some things that he needed. When I came back, he was sitting in his recliner with a crossword book in his lap and pen in his hand. He would nap like this occasionally, so I gently tried to wake him, to let him know I was back. In the short time I was gone, he passed away. All I can say is, at least it was very peaceful. It's been 18 years, and I still can't look at crosswords the same way.
I am so glad the person in the story in the video, was good to the older gentleman. Buying him those books, and listening to his stories, probably meant the world to him. Rest in peace to the man in the story, my dad, all other vets out there who have also passed on, as well as anyone else who has gone on to the other side.🙏

Which was okay by me because the entire day I got to hang out with this dog, she was well trained and the nicest thing ever. Whenever I took her outside she would quickly do her thing and come back inside. My own dog at the time is very nice to humans but doesn't like other dogs, however, this is the only dog that my dog learned to not dislike.
The owner comes and pick her up, turns out they live up the street. Two weeks pass by and guess who decides to come visit me again, the dog, however, this time she brought a friend, another dog, I call the owner once again and the owner laughs and says just let them go, and they will return back home, which they do.
Then AGAIN, she comes to my house, except this time its 4am, and my dad hears her on the patio, so he decides to surprise me and lets her in. She goes into my bedroom wagging her tail and licks me in the face, as I'm half asleep, to say hi. Then my dad drives up the street to drop her off. In total, I lost count how many times she came to visit me, lol, but it would always bring me joy when she did.

Four years ago when my family moved into my grandmas house we had the weirdest neighbor. We were just watching a movie and chilling right? Minding our own buissness. A commercial comes on and I look through the window. Low and behold I see someone on the roof of the house next door. Its the neighbor. She struggles for a little on the roof until finally she just perches there and looks at our TV through our window. I just stare at her and our eyes meet for a good full minute. Then I hear her daughter yelling saying "mom why you on the roof" and I KIDD u not she literally said "oh im just spying".

When I was a little kid our neighbor was an old man whose wife had already passed away. I don't know if he had any children, but I can't remember ever seeing someone coming to visit him. Whenever me and my sister was playing out in our yard he would open the window on the second floor and ask if we wanted candy, then he would proceed to throw it down to us, pice by pice. If it landed in his yard he told us it was okay to climb over the fence to get it. Understandibly our parents were a bit suspicious of him, but I think he was just lonely and enjoyed any kind of interaction he could get since he would also talk to my mom through that same window whenever she was outside taking care of the garden.
We dubbed him "the candy man".

So my neighbors across the street are a little insane in the membrane. The family hates each other and for basically the whole day they were fighting outside (verbally not physically) and that day one of the people visiting had to sleep upstairs in a storage kinda room, might I add that family has a lot of stuff up there. The woman yelled out side and said “I’m grabbing my purse and leaving!” She went into the house. Five minutes later we hear a blood curdling scream. The police were called over (not the first time the cops came btw) the cops come over and asked if we knew anything about why she screamed, we said no but later the same cop came and told us that everything was fine, she had a mirror in her room and she got scared of her own reflection.

It's possible that the neighbor who frantically avoids interaction, he could be a high functioning autistic. A great many of them above a certain age spent their entire childhoods and much of their adult hoods being autistic before they really knew it was a thing or at least fully understood it. I think it's a big reason why a lot of elders are so extremely socially awkward.

      @UncleMikeDrop 5 лет назад

@@bloodylynx4035 It's good to know you overcame those difficulties. A great many older autistics were not so fortunate. When a lot of them were kids, it was still socially acceptable to use the term "retarded" so that obviously didn't help.

My neighbors have crap all over their yard. Most of it is broken, useless junk. They leave their Christmas decorations up until late summer, and they have like 4 generations living in their tiny house. They are quiet enough, but their yard is an eyesore, so I'm going to put up a fence this summer so I don't have to look at it anymore. Oh, and one time one of the kids came over to play with my son and he seriously had to pee every 20-30 minutes. He was at my house for 4 hours and went to the bathroom at least 10 times. He also pissed all over the toilet seat. His parents should probably take him to see a doctor because I don't think that's normal.

My neighbors are just jerks. We have pine trees that I would guess are like 100 ft tall and that have been there since the area first became farmland, far before it became suburbs, and they are the tallest trees within a good 10 miles. They are awe-inspiring. And my jerk neighbors sent their 20 year old son to our door to demand that we cut them down because they don't like the sticks falling on their yard. My family wasn't having that though, and so we handed him a pair of scissors and told him to cut it down with those. He cussed us out, and so my family sent me, a boy of only 12, to bring them a petition demanding that they wash his mouth out with soap. They told me to get off their property, and so to anger them, I left, took some sticks from our trees, put them in a box, gift-wrapped it, and placed it on their front porch, rang the bell, and ran away. I watched from my vantage point hiding behind a tree as they opened it and one of them literally unleashes this demonic screech of anger and starts running around the yard looking for me. I escape quickly and begin stage 2. I had made a pile of sticks on my side of the fence, and began throwing them into their yard. The dude chasing me runs over to inspect the noise, finds the sticks, and unleashes a demon screech again, to which I respond by throwing another stick. I escape into my house and the mission is a success.
Edit: for anyone wondering, the trees were so large that there would be no possible way to cut them down safely. If they were cut down, they would crush that neighbor's house, my house, or block the road. Overall, there was no way to remove them.

When I was still in high school that we had a elderly couple move in next door. They were kind enough to give us cookies, invite us over, and ect. I would draw outside or at random places since it was summer and the Old Man of the couple said to me "That's actually pretty good!" I would smile and thank him.
Later, I would go over there and chat with the couple and show the old man and old women the drawings and they would compliment me. He told me you used to draw himself but told me he did something else (don't remember what it was). The creepiest thing is when he and his wife invited me upstairs, let me sat down and draw, and the old man showed me how to correct my lines of the drawings.
After my mother found out what was going on she told me not to go over there alone anymore. I asked why since I was about to be a freshmen (or was a freshmen) and I believed everyone is good inside. My mother told me that the old man was a registered sexual offender or something. I did take note of it but I continued to go over there once in a blue moon to show my drawings and the couple liked it. Although. the old man would touch my shoulder sometimes and smiled and asked me how long did it take me to draw this and that and would he give me one for free. I did!
After some time, they moved away and I still was a bit weirded out by everything going on and looked up the old man's name online on AOL and surely enough he was registered and realized the danger I was in but something was off about that. I was creep out but each time I go over there they let me go and told me "Thanks for visiting us" as if I was the only ones being nice to them.
Basically, I think the old man was registered but either he seen the error of his ways and found his hobby was thriving in me, or he was really trying to guide a youth to his potential and give him a free drawing. I know you're thinking they were trying to find a way to take advantage of me but here's the thing ... I left myself wide open on all fronts which they could have easily did so but they didn't.
I look at criminals in a little bit different light at that point.

I have a great neighbor story when I was about 3 years old. Our next door neighbor in our court would randomly walk into our backyard, which is completely fenced off from the other houses besides one gate near the front of the house. He would just go back there and walk around even when we were home. This ended when my dog Harley (Jack russel terrier) saw this, rand outside and bit the dudes leg hard enough for him to bleed. He didn’t want to get the law involved since he knew he would get in trouble for trespassing. He moved out about a month after that incident.

I once had a neighbor who would constantly come over to our house.
"Hello ~ we were wondering if my son could get his soccer ball from your yard?" --(first meeting)
"Oh... Sure go on back. And if he sees that our dog is out, its fine. She doesn't like balls and is very friendly."
    "Oh, ok. Thanks honey."
*_proceeds to call her son, son comes_*
"Jacob why don't you get to know our neighbor while you get your soccer ball?"
"Sure... Why not" --(says very.. Annoyed(?) Idk)
"Oh.. OK, let's go then" (I'm about 8 at the time. And he was like 8 1/2 )
We walk to my backyard, find his soccer ball in my dog's pin.
    "Oh. Uh, I'll get it"
I go into my dog's pin/fenced cage and get the soccer ball and hand it to him.
My dog soon after comes rushing over to me and starts "jumping" onto me.
The guy panicks and asks if I'm ok
"Uh- yeah I'm fine. She's very friendly don't worry. And she's not big enough to make me fall over"
She was a boxer. But very young.
He cautiously walked over to my dog and pets it.
    Yep.
As soon as he pet my dog. And my dog actually didn't scoot away from his touch.
I knew. He was going to be the best neighbor and friend I could ever have.
    Until.
Last year he was diagnosed with cancer.
    And shortly after died.
    I miss him so much.
Anyways I guess the weird thing was. His mom.
She kept trying to.. Well not ship per say, she just kinda wanted me and Jacob (not his real name) to be together? Like she really pushed and made is obvious that she wanted us to be together.
But Frankly I made it clear that I only seen him as a brother to me :'D

One of my old neighbors had a son who was around 50 years old. They would not let him move out of the house or find his own place, most likely due to some sort of mental disability which was slightly noticeable, but nothing too serious. Sometimes in the mornings, he would yell in the backyard and curse, and it was always kind of weird. Eventually, he just lived in his car, and that was parked on the curb outside of the house. Just a very weird situation overall. All of my neighbors in that neighborhood were cooky.

We had a neighbor that would piss right in front of the door. Every few days you could hear her moan and take a shit on the grass. Every so often she screamed me awake (I had to go to work really early and she screamed at about 11:30pm so I woke up exhausted af). Sometimes we would leave the house and see blood next to the drain (she had her period whilst peeing outside AGAIN)
    Glad I moved out

I’ve heard that last story several times before; it never fails to make me smile. Easily my favorite story on reddit.

1:26 having plants covering the house is a red flag in my experience. There is a house like that on my street, so many trees and plants like that in front of the house that you could hardly see the wimdows
It was known that living in there was a couple, and the woman was a primary school teacher
However I never actually saw anyone enter or leave the house in the 18 years I have lived on the street, and always thought it was weird
So it turns out that last year the man beat his wife with a lamp or something and she died from the injuries :/

My neighbor from downstairs (elder woman in her 70's) is obsessed with me. She beats on the walls and makes noises whenever I move or make any sort of noise myself, for whatever reason. Whenever I go to the bathroom, I can hear her run to it and very furiously flush the toilet various times. She has a son and whenever he's home she stops making noises and let's him do it. Unfortunately, he seems a little more sane then her and he gives up after a day lol. Still pretty weird and annoying at times.

This woman lived across from me and would hide in her house for months on end and would randomly appear with a small child. She did this like 8 times. A lot of kids

There used to be this really crazy dude who lived across the street from me. He said he was in his 50's, but we later found out he was lying and he was actually late 60's. He used to throw plastic bags at cars driving by because he was angry at them for having loud exhaust, and would also call the city for the silliest things. On occasion there'd be a police car in his driveway for a couple hours, and we'd get no explanation. One time I was sitting out front and hear Heathens by 21 pilots blasting on repeat in his house (this was at 10pm). I'd also hear what sounded like him smashing plates against the wall late at night. Eventually my other neighbour informed me that his siblings were finally evicting him (the house had been their family home and he'd never moved out) and he was being sent downtown to live in an apartment paid for by the city. Apparently he'd always struggled with a painkiller addiction and mental illness. In the weeks before he was supposed to move out it become very quiet over there, which was strange because I knew he was angry about having to move and he usually threw a lot of things and blasted music when he got upset. Couple days before the move I come home to a lot of police cars around his house. I sat on the couch for hours being nosey and watching, but strangely he didn't emerge from the house like his usual angry self. I saw his sister and her husband and she was sobbing, and that's when I caught on that something was wrong.
My other neighbour calls and informs me that the guy shot himself _weeks earlier_ and they just found him. I felt really bad for him and his family, but also really creeped out because his decomposing corpse had been sitting in that house for weeks while I was just over here going about my days. Really weird feeling. The house must have been a mess because there were cleaning and renovation vans over there for a long time afterwards.

We had a weed problem in our yard a few years back, we got an infestation of brambles and we were having trouble dealing with them on a budget. My dad mentioned it to our neighbour once and though nothing of it till one day he came home to find the neighbour down the back, spraying the place down with something. A few days later and the brambles were all dead or dying, turns out he'd taken some industrial strength weed killer from his work place on a farm.

Not my neighbor, but I heard of these people who used to harass and despise their neighbor for some reason. They were almost psychotic and it drove the people who were getting harassed to depression. Then one day the people who were getting harassed died, but the people who were harassing them still to this day yells at the now empty house and put up signs that says things like “come out” and “don’t pretend that you’re dead, we know you’re in there”
